Hachey, Sgt. Curtis James
Hachey, Sgt. Curtis James, C.D.: Sgt Hachey served nearly 20 years with the Canadian Forces primarily in CFB Shilo, Manitoba and CFB Gagetown , NB with his final posting at CFRC St. John’s. He also completed a peacekeeping tour of duty in Cyprus. Having successfully lived with cancer Curtis Hachey, age 39 years completed his last dreams and wishes on December 17, 2008 He is predeceased by his infant daughter, Rebecca. Fondly remembered by his best friend and loving wife, Corrina; his precious children: Melissa, Joshua and Emma; parents: Roger and Sharon Hachey and brother, Darren all residing in Quesnel, BC; mother and father-in-law, Don and Sharon Churchill; sisters-in-law: Lori Churchill and Danielle Churchill-Parsons (Jason) and many other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home., 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sgt. Hachey’s memory may be made to the Last Post Fund NL Branch, 49 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John’s, NL AlA 1W9.
