Dot Bishop and Family

To Hank and Marilyn, our deepest sympathies on the passing of Hank’s dear mother. Sorry that we cannot be there in person to pass along our condolences.

Lived by this lady for a number of years. Loved her dearly. We had many a cup of tea and her scrumptious cookies, one mainly called fiddle diddles. My children couldn’t wait to run across the yard for their cookie every morning. I remember going over to have a cup of tea one afternoon and she had a pot of pea soup on the stove. Needless to say I had to lift the cover and she had just put her dumplings in. That you do not do because they will go flat. However, she was so sweet about it and many years after we would have a great laugh about this incident. She was a loving soul and always so fun to be around. She will be always in my thoughts. Rest in peace dear Ag. Love you lots.

Thinking of all Aunt Agnes’ family and friends at this sad time.

Aunt Agnes was a very special person and lived a remarkable life. Always with a smile and so full of love and kindness. I have so many cherished childhood memories growing up next door to her and Uncle Charlie on Torbay Road. She was always ready with special treats for us, especially our favorite cookies (Fiddle Diddles).

She will forever have a special place in our hearts!

Rest well Aunt Agnes ❤️❤️
Sending love and support to family and friends.

Elaine, Summers family and special sister aunt Joy. Mrs. Summers, a special lady who had a wonderful family whom she loved and cared for very much. Always thinking, supporting and putting others ahead of her own needs. Going to the hardware store rather than a ladies store to help Boyd or Henry and buying specials for other family members was her joy. She will be missed by all.

Elaine and all the Summers family, Thinking of you all during this very sad time. I always remember her smile and energy, back in the day. Lots of good memories are treasures.

I will always have loving memories of a beautiful lady who was indeed a special friend, whom I thought the world of. During the many years I’ve known her we have remained close and I was honored to spend time with her, especially during her last days. She truly adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her love for them was returned in full as they all thought the world of Nan. I’m sure she is still smiling as she is reunited with her beloved Charlie, Boyd and all her old friends, hopefully having a great game of Scat. We will miss her, but the loving memories will always be with us.

Sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. I have great memories of her and the rest of your family when Iived on Freshwater road. She treated me and my siblings like her own children. Take care Henry

You were truly one of a kind. You gave me an endless number of childhood memories that I’ll always cherish. Berry picking, painting the cabin, riding in the rear facing seat in your station wagon, sneaking in to firmly press a multi folded bill into my hand before leaving our house with your infectious grin…complete with instructions. You lived a full life with an attitude most strive to achieve. You’re surely being greeted with a nod and a wink. Rest in peace Aunt Agnes.
Sincere and heartfelt condolences to all in the Summers family, who brought her so much happiness.

I will hear your laugh forever. I enjoyed visiting you with my cats, you would say ” bring the deaf one with the white hair & blue eyes, my twin” lol. Take a chocolate on the way out. Nothing else can take the place of music & friends.
