Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center, St. John’s after a short battle with cancer, Alice Meade, aged 65 years. Leaving to mourn her 2 daughters: Michelle Botting and Rose Hoeg; her buddy Derek (Roses Husband), and good friend Geraldine Bishop. Her 3 grandchildren Madison and Isabelle Botting and Zachary Hoeg; her mother Rita Maddox (Predeceased John); step brother Paul Maddox (Trina) and a number of brothers and sisters and her large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. with visitation on Friday October 30th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday October 31st, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, with cremation to follow. There will be a mass held out in Kings cove at Saints Peter and Paul Church and interment to follow at Saints Peter and Paul cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer society.

Al, you were one of the most amazing women I’ve had the pleasure in not only meeting but you were a big part of my life. You raised two amazing and beautiful daughters that were your entire world, along with your 3 beautiful grandchildren. You were a very big part of my life and watched me grow into an adult I am today. I know you’re with them providing them the strength to carry on ❤ I love you and I’ll forever miss you ????❤.
