Obituary

It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the passing of a very dear father, grandfather, soul mate and friend on the evening of February 25, 2018. Howie passed peacefully away at home surrounded by family and friends.

Howie was an employee of 42 years at Northern Telecom and ended his career there as director of Marketing of Canada and the U.S.A. He retired in Florida.

My heart goes out to Ann. She made Howie so happy and gave so much of herself to him. My heart also goes out to his children who loved him so much. Howie was and is my father-in-law. I loved him very much. He was fun, funny,, intelligent generous and warm-hearted. We had many heart to heart discussions and he advised me and helped me on many things including career, children and home. The world is a dimmer place without him. Carolyn

Ann, Family & Friends of Howie

Just to note that I failed to identify ourselves in
the preceding message!!!

Dear Ann, Family & Friends of Howie;
It is with deep sadness that I received word of Howie’s passing. I first met Howie in my Bible study group when I returned to St. Thomas’ a few years ago. Howie would often add so many helpful insights into the various passages of scripture we might be covering . Thus, began our friendship and christian fellowship which we have enjoyed so much together. He always displayed that warm and pleasant sense of humor whenever we had occasion to meet. We now commend his spirit to a loving Lord, and pray for God’s peace in this our time of bereavement. Every blessing!
