Obituary

Passed peacefully away on Sunday, February 4th 2018 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, age 96 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Pike, Spanish Room; sister Katie Chaddock; brothers, George, Harold and Bob Pike; her husband Francis Fergus Coady in 1997; also, niece Mary Hannam, Jean de Baie in 2017. Leaving to mourn nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Marystown, Spanish Room and Jean de Baie; special friends the Andrews, Kirby’s and Howard families. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, February, 6th. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Auxiliary, 146 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John’s, NL, A1B 1S5. Condolences to all of aunt Annie’s family, she was a special lady to many people. She will be remembered for her sense of humor & love for the people around her. Some game of West or 120’s & laughs going on in heaven with your friends now. RIP forever!!

Deepest sympathy extended to family and friends. My mom and Annie were great friends. They shared the same name. She was so funny. We enjoyed her company. RIP Annie. What a game of cards you will all have now.
