Obituary

Passed suddenly away on April 25, 2020 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Barbara Ann Prowse at the age of 56 years.  Predeceased by her father Samuel Prowse; Grandson Sammy March-Prowse; Nephews Christopher Prowse and David Benson. Leaving to mourn her loving son Robert, daughter in law Ashley, and her little treasures Hannah, Jayden & Callie. Left with loving memories her mother Rita and siblings, Helen (John), Alex (Marie), Roy (Elizabeth), Herb (Ruth), Tammy (Marco), Will (Christine) and Marg (Kevin), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of Barb’s life at a later date. Donations in Barb’s name can be made to The Hub, Children’s Wish or a charity of one’s choice.

Condolences first off to all remaining Family , our time of knowing each other started a long time ago in the Children’s Rehab Center days, like everyone time has its way of separating us from our long time friends , in later years Barb , Robert and I were actually living in the same Accessible Unit on Manley Place in Mount Pearl , she was 12 , and I was 11 Manley . from the time she was small as well as I , the one thing about Barb was she would greet you with her smile first , when I think of her I shall do the same .. God’s Speed Barb , keep smiling till we meet again

I’m sorry to hear about your loss . I remember Barbie well ,,she always had such long beautiful hair that I loved .Try to remember all the good times during this time ~~Take Care ~~

Prowse family. Deepest sympathy to all as you mourn the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmothjer, daughter and sister. I remember Barbie Ann from the Children’s Rehab days. She was always so pleasant and a joy to be around. In later years our paths would often cross and she was still that same happy go lucky person. May Barbie Ann’s gentle soul rest in the loving arms of our Lord. Rest in Peace and Love dear lady.
