Daphne was indeed a lady in every sense of the word. Her smile and laughter filled a room and she always looked her very best. She was a willing participant in the “Golden Girls” get togethers, teas and luncheons, Hallowe’en costume parties and outings to The Captains’ Table (did I get the name right?) on the southern shore. Her stories of being in the Land Army and other events during WW II were very interesting. Today I finally made her parsnip soup recipe and it was delicious! My condolences to the family.

Barbara & Family:
So sorry to learn of you mothers passing. She was a lovely lady who I visited regularly while my mom, Jean Harding, was a resident in the room across the hall. The last time I visited her was during Christmas. She always enjoyed the visit.
Take care and God bless.
