To Barb,
Not sure if you remember me, Barb, but I graduated with you in 1982!! I worked with your mother at the Grace, on surgery, from 1982 to 1985. She was a wonderful nurse and a wonderful person! I have remembered her well for all these years–the influence she had on a brand new nurse like me! My condolences to you and your family.

To Barb, Linda and Ruth

So sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. Sending you my sympathies on your loss.

Barb,
Sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.

Ruthie, I am sorry to hear of your loss of your mother.

Dearest Barbara Ann,

Hi Ruth (Barb & Linda),
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families as you grieve your Mom. Love Cathy, Mike, Emily & Evie.

My dear friend Barb. Sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. Thinking about you and your sisters, Linda and Ruthie and your families during this sad time. Take care.

Linda, Barbara and Ruth,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you on the passing of your dear mother. Although I only met her when I was a child in Halifax, I so enjoyed her letters to me from 2002- 2009 while I was caring for my mother, Gwen Brackett. She wrote very lovingly of her three daughters and their families.
Keeping you in my prayers,
Maureen Brackett Martin, Seattle Washington

Linda, Barb, Ruthie and families, so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I knew your Mom very well always a first class lady who helped many in her life time. Unfortunately we are away on vacation and can’t be with you. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Paul and Ann Marie Raynes

Ruthie, I’ve been thinking about your mother and what a remarkable woman she was. She seemed to know how to do everything and always made me feel welcomed visiiting your home as a child (and she baked the best cookies and treats and seemed to have an endless supply!) I was in awe of her and her many talents as I’m sure you were, too. I know it will be hard for you and your sisters to live without her. My heart is with you. xo

Linda, thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.

Linda, Barb and Ruth,
Your mom was a very kind and gracious lady who gave selflessly of her time and talents.. I will fondly remember the many “drop ins” on Cashin Ave over the last 35+ years.
May you find solace in the lifetime of memories you all have.

So sorry for your loss. Barb was a wonderful friend.

Family of the late Barbara Janes.
Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Mother, Barbara. Remember your Mom and meeting her when your Grandfather, Canon Harvey Torraville, (Mrs. Torraville) was the Rector of Portugal Cove/St. Philip’s. In fact the Canon gave me great encouragement to enter the Ministry……He left me his private Communion set which I have used now for almost fifty years for home communions. Your Mother will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She lived her life sharing, giving, and caring for others. “May her rest be in Peace, and her dwelling place be in the Paradise of God.” Amen. +

To Linda, Barb and Ruth and Families, we are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. My Husband and I have many fond memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Barb. She was such a good friend to my mother for years. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

My sincere condolences to you all. Your Mom worked with my Mom (Mary Anthony) at the Grace Hospital. Mom considered her a treasured friend and colleague. They were both wonderful nurses and lovely ladies! May you find peace in your happy memories!

Sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure looking after your Mom. She was a lovely Lady and a fellow Nurse . <3
