Bernice "Bun" Anna Noseworthy (nee Murphy)

Obituary

Passed peacefully away at The Agnes Pratt Home, Bernice (Bun) Noseworthy, aged 73. 

Predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael (Mickey) Noseworthy, parents Michael and Sarah Murphy, in-laws Leo and Phyllis Noseworthy, and several brothers, sisters, and in-laws.

Leaving to mourn her daughter and best friend Kim (Terry Tilley), and the joy of her life grandson Michael.  Also remembered by brother Jim Murphy (Florence), sister Dorothy English, brothers and sisters-in-law, and a large circle of family, especially her beloved nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff of Agnes Pratt, especially those on Stella Burry wing, your care and compassion was above and beyond, particularly in her final days.

The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held from Mary Queen of Peace, 135 Torbay Road, on Monday, November 23rd at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Please contact the family to attend the funeral mass at Mary Queen of Peace.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Your mother was a wonderful lady , I always enjoyed our chats when I would be working, she adore her family so much and always had a kind word about you guys , thinking of you , Kim and family during this difficult time

It was just a few months ago, Jim called me and passed on his blessings for my Mom ,Bertha and my brother Bob who also passed. So on behalf of myself and all the Crocker Family. Kim, my heart was sadden to hear of your Moms passing. Bernice and I had a lot of laughs daily. She spoke so highly of her family and the love she had for each of you. Bernice’s loving, thoughtful, caring ways has touch every person she has meet. She was loved dearly. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family.

I’m very sorry to hear the news about your mom. I know how special she was to you. Both your parents loved you very much and they always seemed very proud of you and everything you and Terry did for them. Michael was very fortunate to have had two grandparents that loved him and would do anything for him.
I hope they have their “cards and baskets” as they reunite once again

My deepest condolences to Kim , Terry , Michael and the Murphy family . I have know Bun and became friends with all the Murphy Family many years ago . My heart aches for you all during this very sad time . Keep her beautiful memories close to your heart , they will help get you through the very trying days ahead . Rest peacefully Bun .

Kim and family, so saddened to hear of aunt Bernice’s passing, another good one gone to soon. I guess the consolation is knowing that she is no longer in pain but once again reunited with love ones gone before her. I worked for bernice for a year and a half. We became very close, she was like a mother to me. She was a beatiful, sweet, loving soul and she will be missed terribly by so many. My sincerest condolences to kim, terry, Michael and family. May she rest in peace. Xoxo
