Obituary

We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of our sister and friend, Brenda Wiseman. Brenda passed away at the age of 55 on December 28th at home in Paradise, Newfoundland. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Mary Patricia Wiseman (Putt) and Edward Wiseman, as well as her sisters Tracie and Patricia, and brothers Jimmy and Terry and Edward.

She leaves to mourn her sisters, Debbie Wiseman and Deanne Lundrigan (Jerry) and brother Ken Putt (Grace), niece Amy and nephews William and Max, sister-in-law Cindy; Adrie, Mascha, Hanneke and more family in Holland, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends, including special friends Darlene Yetman and Donna Murphy, her Facebook buddies and bunny Brandy.

Brenda was always quick with a joke and everyone who knew her would say she was kind, loving and funny. She will be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to have known her.

As per her wishes, there will be no wake. A service will be held on Friday, January 4th at 2PM from The Carnell Memorial Chapel 329 Freshwater Road, with a reception afterwards. We will have a Celebration of Life party in the spring as well.

Memorial contributions can be made to your local food bank.

To Brenda’s family.
I knew Brenda at St.patricks .
I do remember her fondly, she always had a smile.
May the pain you feel right now ease up in with time.
God Bless

Dear Brenda’s family
I just heard of Brenda’s passing and am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Brenda and much later in life reconnected via facebook while she was living in Holland! We laughed about how she learned to speak Dutch but couldn’t master French!!
I was just home to NL, celebrating my dad’s life on Dec. 29 and was too consumed with my own grief to be aware of yours.
