Just thought about you old buddy and looked you up. Rest easy Stewie bambooie

Stew I love ya man. Miss u, till we meet rest easy.

Coach

My heart breaks for all of Brian’s family and friends. I just found out about his passing. I worked with Brian at shell scotford. He was an amazing man, super funny, loving and caring. He made my work day so much better. I will miss him deeply. Lots of love for all of you in your time of Greig!

I am so sorry and absolutely heart broken…I have been waiting for Stew’s phone call or text for the past 2 weeks. The last time we spoke I was going to drive to Edmonton to pick him up if his jeep wasn’t fixed so he would make it back in time for his shift in Dawson Creek. Our last phone call was him joking around about the purple rain CD that he left in my car, pretending he was calling about a kijiji ad, asking me to hold the CD for him so he could check it out for scratches. We didn’t have a lot of time together but in the time that we did get to spend, we had more fun than most people could hope to have. He talked all the time about a trip back to Newfoundland to show me where he grew up and all the adventures we were going to go on.. I just can’t believe he’s gone…we didn’t get enough time ???? I will forever cherish the pictures, texts, videos and memories. He was truly STEWpendous and I will miss him immensely, heaven has gained an amazing soul and he will forever hold a dear place in my heart ❤

Brian brightened our every day with huge personality and fun-loving sense of humour. But there’s something else I remember about Brian. I remember on many occasions in high school when he saw someone left out or alone, no matter how supposedly ‘uncool’ or ‘unpopular’ they were, he would go over, put his arm around them, say something like ‘Hey bud, I like your shirt, you’re pretty cool you know.’

He accepted everyone and judged no one. And somehow, he made everyone feel special. He was a shining light, and even though we lost him so young, I believe Stew achieved his life goal – and more than most of us ever will: he touched the life of every person he met, he left his mark in fine style, and he made it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to ever be forgotten!

Johnny, Cathy and Jennifer, his greatness was because of you. You should be incredibly proud.

#STEWfoundland

Brian was such a funny, happy kid. He always had a smile on his face He was a good friend to Robbie, and when we lived on Donovan’s Road, he was like an extra one of the family.. He was a pleasure to have around. He even looked after our dog, when we had to go to Bonavista for a family emergency. We have fond memories of him, and are so sorry you are going through every parent’s worse nightmare. We are out of the province and won’t get to wake or funeral, but I am sure Robbie will be a fine representative for our family.

John, Cathy , Jennifer and Colin,
It was such a shock to hear of Brian’s passing.
We can not even imagine how you are feeling during this difficult time, we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Hold tight to your memories and he will always be walking beside you. Our deepest sympathy to all.

I genuinely regret your loss. I hope that in due time your family receives God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Rest assured that God cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our dead loved ones like Brian will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29; John 5:28, 29) With all my sympathy for the loss of someone so dear.

Cathy. Johnny, Jennifer, Colin and family

Hold on to that….we are all thinking of you. See you when I get back.

Cathy, John & family I was deeply saddened to hear of your precious son’s passing. I did not know Brian, but it sounds like he was a very special person and loved by all who knew him. My sincere condolences to you and your family, my God give you strength at this difficult time and the days ahead. You are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Stew

Mr and Mrs Stanley…….
I will never forget the laughs and great connection that he brought between people no matter what the day was like…… always have great memories, doing the shopping cart, the sprinkler, watching the habs and leafs…. rest in peace my good friend…….. sadly missed but never forgotten…….see you buddy…

Never will we forget the stewpendous person you are and how you touched all that were lucky enough to know you. You made the world a brighter place. you’ll always be in our hearts.

I started Kindergarten with Brian at Goulds Elementary. I was heart broken after hearing of his death. Going through school with Brian, I learned the power of a laugh. It will be said many times that “Brian was a great guy who made people laugh”. For every person who says that, there will be a story. A story that will be shared when his family and friends connect and remember a person who could spark a collective laugh from coast to coast. He helped us recall of our childhood and recognize how incredibly lucky we all were to have been apart of his. Brian’s character, of charm and whit, made an imprint on my life and many many others. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends as they remember him. To have been loved by so many and remembered with such joy, is the greatest achievement anyone could have. Cheers to you Brian, thank you for being one awesome Goulds Gopher.

A light left the earth and now shines in the sky for the world to see. Brian, you touched many people here on earth, so be happy where you are and help those who are still here and who still need your laughter.

Brian was an amazing person who made anyone smile the moment they met him. spent a lot of time with him as a kid and at one point we had our own skate team. My heart goes out to his family during this time and hope they take comfort in each other during this difficult time. he will be missed and never forgotten. Rest easy Stew

I went to elementry school with Brian and thinking back had all good memories of his friendly and funny nature. My heart is with you as you say good but to this sweet soul.

So sorry to hear about Brian AKA STEW’S passing he was a good person and he will be missed by all

Stew, you were so kind to me from the day we met, the day Trevor was moving with Mook & Kirsty. You always had something funny to say, a smart ass remark, anything to make everyone laugh. You were so excited when you found out Trevor & I were expecting, and talked about being “Uncle Stew”, you leave a void no one could ever fill, no one could ever compete with you infectious laugh, and your raps. They were something else! You didn’t even have to be from Newfoundland, and you still understood everything you said, and how much HOME meant to you. I’m so grateful to have been a part of your life, cut way to short. Trevor & I will miss you dearly, thanks for being a friend. RIP buddy.

Brian – I’m glad we spent days together in Banff. You’re an amazing person – too full of life to ever fade your memory.
Peace Brother.

I’m so deeply sorry to learn about Brian’s passing and I struggle to find the right words to express my condolences to his close friends and family. I met Brian in grade four and went to school with him right up until high school. He was kind-hearted, funny and a friend to everyone. I haven’t spoken to him much since high school graduation, yet when I heard of his passing my heart simply ached. This type of sadness felt after 20 years illuminates exactly the type of person he was- the kind of guy who leaves a lasting impression over space and time, who made your day brighter, made you laugh until your sides hurt and someone who will never be forgotten. I can’t imagine the pain that those closest to him are experiencing. I hope remembering Brian’s simple but most important contributions in this life- laugher and kindness-will help ease the pain.

Cathy,Johnnie,Jennifer and all members of the Daley and Stanley families.
Sincere sympathy on the death of Brian…..I remember him from his time spent in St.Joseph’s as a child.. Treasure your memories and take care of one another.

I am so sorry to hear of Brians passing. I am still in shock and cant believe that he was taken from us way to soon. Bryan was more than a first cousin to me, I always looked up to him as being my brother I never had. He was a gentle soul with a huge heart and a humor like no one I have ever meet before. Brian would light up the room and make anyone smile and LOL. I am going to miss you cuz although I never seen you as much as I would of liked to over the years. I always felt that when we did see each other we would always pick up where we left off. You will always hold a special place in my heart . Say hi to Nanny and Poppy from me, until we meet again cuz aka “STEWIE” xoxoxo

. He was a good, kind, and funny man, with a generous heart. Until we meet again …. xoxo

I love you Stew. My big brother from another mother. Your love for your family and those around you far and near is second to none. You had a one liner for everything and always made everyone laugh even in the most inappropriate times. Our times together we’re like no other friendship I’ve had. We shared laughs and tears together. I’d buy a new RDS shirt and the next day you’d have two and try to say sluggo sent them to you directly. Every time we’d make a challenge out of something, if I won, you’d always have a hilarious excuse. You knew I was a huge hockey fan and the stories of you being the fastest on the ice cannot be forgotten. If I didn’t believe you you’d be dailing up Cathy and John to prove me wrong. Again, thanks for everything you’ve done for and with me. I’ll remember it forever. You never stopped calling me Eddy Raymond since that day up north when I wore an Eddy Bauer shirt with ripped off sleeves in -40.

Cathy, John and Jennifer. So sorry to hear of the loss of your precious son/brother. I ll keep you all in my thoughts a prayers.

If there is a quota of joy that one is allowed to spread in a lifetime, I feel confident in saying Stew met his by high school graduation. I hope the family takes solace in the amazing impression he left on even those he was not close friends with. Rest easy.

Cathy, John, and Jennifer, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of Brian, a great friend over the years for so many of us. I was very excited and happy when after the evacuation in Fort McMurray one of the first people I spoke with upon arrival back to the city was Stew. I was really looking forward to reconnecting and hanging out with a great old friend. Busy schedules and the like kept us from getting together as often as we would like but we spoke quite frequently, the love he had for his mom was second to none and they way he spoke of Jennifer and Colin’s children and how much he cherished that relationship was only a glimpse of how big his heart was. Brian will always be remembered as one of the greatest guys I had the privilege to call a close friend. The good times and all the trouble we caused as young men will always be kept very close to my heart. Brian always proudly wore his heart on his sleeve and was one of the more empathetic people I ever met. Stinnard you will be sorely missed by all of us who love you, rest easy brother. From my family to yours, we are all sending our love.

Brian used to hang around with my brother Robby, such goofs together throughout high school. I loved his raps on Facebook! His passion for his family, his mom, for the Goulds, and for his friends. I’m so sad to hear of his passing, may he rest peacefully. Take care.

Thinking on your family and keeping you in our prayers. So very sorry for your loss.

Sending my love! From my family to yours! Xoxo

My thoughts and prayers are with your family, I don’t need to express how many people’s lIves he touched in his short time on this earth. It’s hard to believe he’s gone, I was just talking to him on Facebook awhile ago and he seemed healthy. One thing I can say is that he was always there for everyone even if he was dealing with his own stuff…God love you Brian and may he take you into his loving embrace!! xoxo

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. RIP Brian.

Oh Stewie…too soon for you to go. I can still hear your laugh….You had such a kind, and generous personality. Always so curious about how everyone was doing while beating to your own drum. You lit up the room when you arrived and that can be attested to so many friends. Seems like yesterday you, Jenn, me, Dionne, & Wayne, were sitting at the kiddies table in your mother’s kitchen eating Xmas dinner. Love you and miss you always. Leslie (Cousin), Chad, Sam & Max Batterton.
