Obituary

Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home, Christine Joy Pilgrim, aged 66 years.  Predeceased by her husband Harry Pilgrim, parents Jonathan and Clara Tucker, and brothers Rick and Eugene Tucker.  Left with fond and loving memories her children Henry and Michelle, her long-time companion Doug Ridgeley, siblings Peter (Carol), Johnny (Roxanne), Amelia (Rick), Ethel (Ken); nieces and nephews Amanda (Shawn), Ken (Lindsey), Rick (Heather), Sherry (Craig), Jason (Andrea), Tiffany (Mark), Cassie (Jason), and Alex (Jane), good friends Wayne (Jen), Julie (Mack) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends too numerous to mention.  Mom was known for her homemade bread, her plastic canvas’, her love of Elvis, her infectious smile and the friends she made wherever she went.  Family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held from St. Philip’s Anglican Parish on Thursday, October 8 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine’s memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

I am sorry Michelle and Henry for ur loss of ur mom

A big heart and a big smile is what ill cherish go rest now with the angels. Many of times you comforted me like climbing
into bed with me when I was crying like a baby the night mom passed, for your love and care I will be forever grateful!

So sorry to hear about Christine. We always had a nice chat about her plastic canvas. I have a few things she made for me at home. She was a very sweet women. Will miss seeing her and having a chat. Sending my condolences.
