Tanya and Family,
I was so saddened to learn of your Dad’s recent death. No matter the age it is never easy to lose a parent. I hope it brings you some comfort to know that so many people are thinking of you at this very difficult time. Surely the very best of your Dad lives on in you. I will say a special prayer for him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.

So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He was a great friend and c0-worker. Sincere condolences to Bev & Family.

Aunt Bev, Janet, Karen Tanya and families:
I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing.. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time. RIP Don.

Saddened by the passing of a friend and mentor. Met Don many years ago while attending Air Cadet League National meetings and from day-1 , I knew that he was a man I could trust and get a straight answer from although it might not always be what I wanted to hear…he was a straight shooter!
Not surprised to hear that he passed attending a Cadet Function as that was his passion. Many youth throughout the province and indeed across our great country lead richer lives as a result of Don’s dedication to Cadets.
My condolences and that of my wife Aurella go out to Bev and members of the Gladney family.

Russell Gallant, Governor

Don was an Officer I looked up to as a young cadet. In later years, I had the privilege working along side as Western Vice during my tenure. I will remember Don as an effective speaker, communicator an the voice for the Air Cadet.

Jackie Vokey, Commanding Officer (Retired) of 567 Random Air Cadet Squadron

I came to know Don Gladney through the Air Cadet League. He was a forthright and direct speaker who spoke truth to the powerful and the powerless alike. Don Gladney spoke his mind, one formed during over 60 years of experience with Air Cadets and the Air Cadet league, both provincially and nationally. At the NL League public speaking contest held this past weekend in Gander, Don Gladney’s presence was very much felt and missed. He was an active and avid promoter of the event, holding a fervent and fervid belief in the benefit to youth of public speaking. Through his efforts, the event gained national prominence in the Air Cadet League .Although Don Gladney was largely unknown to cadets, he was the wind beneath their wings . Enjoy your new wings, Don.

Tanya, very sorry to hear that your Dad has recently passed away. I hope that many happy memories will sustain you as you grieve his loss. Please accept my deepest condolences.
Kindest regards,
