Sorry to hear about the loss of such a great and wonderful man. He will be missed. Heartfelt condolences to Aunt Ruby, Ros, Ken and families. Our thoughts are with you.

On behalf of all members of St. Augustine’s Company CLB, we offer our sincere condolences to the Bartlett family. Major Douglas Bartlett was known to us as a tremendously compassionate, caring leader. He was a remarkable role model for our youth members and adult leaders alike, and his memory will continue to inspire us in the CLB for many years to come!

Dear Ruby, Rosalind and Ken and families,
Louise and I were shocked to hear about the passing of Douglas. We had a chat together while waiting at the health Science Centre just a few weeks ago. Heaven’s choir has another fine tenor as he was a blessing to have in the St. Mary’s Choir when I played there many years ago. Keep all the happy memories . May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Ros and family,
I was sorry to hear about your father. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Rosalind and Family
Sincere Condolences to you and your family
on the passing of your dad.
May all the pleasant memories you have shared give you comfort and peace.
sincerely
Carol Arsenault

Dear Ruby, Rosalind, Ken and families, we were so sorry to hear of the news of Doug’s passing this week What a great age, though, he reached and what a great life he lead. You and we have many great memories of his life and legacy to recall at this time and in the future. In sympathy, Bill and Dulcie

Ros and Kenneth I was saddened to read tonight of your father’s passing. It’s funny, I drove past his house just the other day and wondered how he was doing.
You all are part of my childhood and teenage years. I will never forget being in St. Mary’s choir with your father. I used to love it when he would do a solo. What a voice!
It’s never easy to lose a parent no matter how old you are or how old they are.
I am thinking about you all at this difficult time. He had a long and wonderful life. Remember all the wonderful memories you have created and think of them in your time of sorrow.

Mrs Bartlett and family,
Our sincere condolences on Major Bartlett’s death. You are in our prayers. God Bless.

Ruby and the entire Bartlett family
I was very sorry to hear from an old friend that Doug had passed away. Be assured of my prayers as you gather to commemorate and give thanks for his life of service. I have a tremendous sense of gratitude for Doug’s influence on my own life and spiritual journey. In 1984 Doug served as one of the members fo my Lay Sopport Team when I arrived at St Mary’s as a seminarian. My year there and the continued support of Doug and Ruby ad so many others shaped my entire ministry. He was one of the first to see in me a future military chaplain and it was no accident that I spent most of that career in the navy. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Ruby, Ros, Ken & families. So sad to hear of Doug’s passing. We are away and unable to be with you at this sad time, but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May the memories of a long, well lived and distinguished life be a source of comfort to you all. Feel so fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to visit and speak with him recently. Our deepest sympathies to all.

Mrs. Bartlett, Rosalind, Ken and Families, so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. As I know you will and have, there are many fond memories, for me especially in our younger years down at St. Mary’s, which I know will last forever in your and my lifetime. He was a kind, gentle man. God bless you all and comfort you.

So sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. Thinking of you and sending our heartfelt thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Lori (Squires) & John Robert
