Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden death of our mother who died at home in the arms of her daughter on September 11, 2020 at the age of 62. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Bernice Whalen, brother Bob, and nephew William Whalen. Left with a lifetime of memories Wayne, daughter Melissa (Mike), son David (Jen), and stepdaughter Toni; grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Zackery, Adam, Aidan, Leah; special canine buddies Ellie, Mia and Kimere; sisters Colleen (Ed), Phyllis (Frank), brothers Cliff (Karen), Randy (Jenny), Bill (Juanita), sister-in-law Shirley, a large circle of family, nieces, nephews and friends, and special friend Barb Moore. At our mother’s request, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in Liz’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Liz was a great friend and neighbour to all. She loved to laugh and make others happy. Try not to dwell on the sadness by cherish the happy memories forever. We will remember the many chats had as we watched over all the “youngsters”, yours and ours, as they played together. Special hugs to Zach, Adam, Aiden, and Leah. Never forgotten, forever missed.

But u are in a better place now and not in pain I love u to the moon and back I wish I was there with u and miss u every sec of the day .i know you are watching every move I make but the boys are safe and I promise I will take the best care of them u don’t have to worry anymore.
