Obituary

Gerald “Gerry” Quinton O’Reilly passed peaceful away surrounded by his family on August 12, 2016.

Predeceased by his parents William and Alice O’Reilly. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Deanna, daughters Donna (Lindsay King), Dawn and Kim, grandchildren, Nicole MacIsaac, Nathan Whalen, Tamara Amune, Alyssa and Spencer, sister Eileen Gregory and family, sister’s in law Daphne Rentz (Don) and family, Judy Lundrigan (Randy) and family. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday, August 13 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, August 14 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 15 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the War Amps. Gerry had many fond memories of playing soccer for St. Pat’s and working at the Pleasantville and Pippy Place Employment Offices. Saddened to hear of Jerry’s passing. Unfortunately, I didn’t know until after his service today. While we did not keep in touch over the years, as children/youth we often visited and played together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
