George and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Gert’s passing. We only knew her for a very short time while we were roommates in the Health Science Center…but she certainly made an impression on both of us. We loved the short conversations she would have with us, that always made us laugh. May she be resting in peace.
So sorry to hear of Gertrude’s passing. She was a member of our art group and will be sorely missed. She loved her painting and we had so much fun as we viewed each other’s work. Gertrude was truly a lady, very mild mannered and friendly to all. Sincere condolences to all the family.
Sarah & family,
We love you and are praying for you as you celebrate your mom and mourn her passing. If you all are any reflection of your mom, she must have been an amazing lady.
May you receive the comfort, peace, and strength you need from God each day.
We are here for you.
George & Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Please accept our Deepest Sympathy. Gwen & Max
Uncle George, Robert, David, Bill and Sarah: Unfortunately neither Jane nor I can be with you at this very sad time, but our thoughts are with you and your families.
I have wonderful memories of aunt Gertie both as a child when our families got together most summers in St John’s or Twillingate, and in recent years when Jane and I had the opportunity to spend great times with her and uncle George in Dartmouth. We will always remember her wonderful sense of humor, love of life and travel. She was one smart and beautiful lady. We will miss her very much.

sincere sympathy George and family ,thinking of you at this sad time,Gertie was a beautiful person and we are so glad our paths crossed.
I am so very sad to hear of Gert’s death. We were not only nursing colleagues, but for many years the best of friends. We even lived and worked together in Dartmouth years ago, to put our husbands through college! Our relation was renewed in our senior years when we got together at the home of mutual friend, June Bowden.’s. We knew her as a light-hearted, loving,, fun-loving person devoted to her husband,, her family, her friends and to her profession.
George and family, very saddened to hear of Gerts passing, I worked with her for many years in the OR, she was a very hard worker and a sweet lady who was always pleasant and never had a bad word for anyone, I also recall her great sense of humour, she will be sadly missed by many, You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time and I know that the many cherished memories that she has left with you will help get through in the days to come
