Obituary
Rose, Gregory Francis (Paradise) – Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the age of 34 years.
Predeceased by his Poppy Rose and Poppy John.
Greg will be lovingly missed by his parents Gary and Debbie, brother Chris (Kellie), sisters Kelly (Mike) and Amy (Marko), his special niece Sydney, and dog Candy.
He also leaves to mourn a large circle of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends, including his Nanny Dooley, Nanny Rose, his special Uncle Wilf and Aunt Sus, and his best friend Ricky Gosse.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Stefanelli, and Janet Brown for all their help and support over the years. As well as his homecare workers and community health nurse Esther Abbot-Kent for all their care.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home (1045 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl) on Tuesday, October 16th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 17th from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Thursday, October 18th from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Friday, October 19th at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Flowers accepted, and donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada in Greg’s name.

To our family in Newfoundland Ricky and I were heartbroken at the news of Gregory passing. Our thoughts are with all of you in this difficult time. It is never easy when we lose someone we love. We wish we could be there to comfort you. Just know that we are thinking of you and sending our love. Gregory was a beautiful person suffered a lot in his life yet he always seemed to have a smile for you. A young man gone too soon. He can never be forgotten if we share our memories with each other. I was so sorry to read of Greg’s passing. i knew him many years ago in school and remember him as a friendly fellow.

I am sad to hear about this tragedy. I am convinced that no one better than God, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. Do believe the words of Psalm 34:18 “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” Thus, may you lean on God to give you the strength you need in the days ahead.
Rest easy my buddy. I had the honour of meeting you when we were 17 you always had a smile on your face and a undeniable love for the quad. Your one of a kind my buddy and will be forever missed by all your family and friends. Thanks brother for giving me the honour of knowing you.

You were not only his parents , you were his care givers, his at home nurses, his at home doctors, you were his Personal caregivers, his friend, his mom and dad and so much more.
