Obituary
Passed peaceful away on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre, Harold W. Ivany, age 97 years.
Predeceased by his father and mother, John and Carrie; brothers, Clarence and Douglas; sister Irene Locke.
Left to mourn his passing is his son Harold Jr.; granddaughters, Holly and Kelly; sister, Joan Mercer; brother Cyril (Roberta); other relatives and friends.
Harold was a member of St. Andrew’s Masonic Lodge.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd. In keeping with COVID-19 regulations attendance is by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
My sincere condolences to Mr. Ivany’s family. I just learned of his passing…. grateful it was not a prolonged process. So pleased to hear he had a bit of time in his new home….
I very much enjoyed being part of his care over the years….I will miss him….

I knew Harold When he worked at Brookfield Ice Cream. He also taught my mother and brother to drive. A wonderful man and was admired by my family.
