I remember Ms Campbell fondly from my days at Bishops College. I ran into her a few years ago and recognized her immediately. She looked exactly the same. She was a good teacher and a lovely lady. She will be missed R.I.P. Miss.

Miss Campbell, a teacher I’ve always remembered fondly and as some other fellow students have mentioned, stood out for her hairstyles and sports cars. The day I found out she passed I was wearing a red hoodie which I was also wearing in one of my most vivid memories of her. She would always have us take turns reading aloud the novels we were studying. I was a little shy in high school so when it came my turn she said to me “Emily, you’re turning as red as your sweat shirt! You’ll do fine!” Thanks for caring about your career and students. Rest easy.

Miss. Campbell had a wonderful personality as a teacher and she really seemed to love her job! Someone that laughed that much had to love what they did for a living! ! Sending my deepest condolences to her family and friends. She influenced so many lives.

Miss Campbell, as we knew her as our literature teacher and homeroom teacher for three years respectively, was one of the teachers you remembered. She also stood out for her hairstyle and her Mustangs! Thank you for the life lessons, Miss Campbell. Rest in peace. — Richard Symonds and Mandy Cook

Miss Campbell taught me at Bishops. I will always remember her love of teaching, but most of all her sporty Mustang. Those were the good old days. RIP sweet lady.

Miss Campbell was my homeroom and English teacher for grade 10 back in the early 80’s. She was an awesome teacher. Condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

I have thought on Ms. Campbell so many times since high school, and always fondly. Her enthusiasm and ability to reach kids and make them like lit was a rare gift. I will forever smile thinking of her description of Oedipus and the many other characters that came to life in her classroom. I hope she knew how very special she was in the hearts of so many. Rest easy, beautiful lady. You were one or a kind.

Ms. Campbell was an amazing teacher who showed care for her students. She took the time to know you. I loved her classes immensely. You will be missed. Lots of love,. Xo

As a student, I couldn’t stand English and didn’t really get it until I got Ms. Campbell in grade 12. Things kinda turned around that year. She was probably the first person that got me interested in Shakespeare.

Hard to believe that was nearly 35 years ago.

So glad that I got to tell her how she changed my life at the closing ceremonies for Bishops a few years ago.

Thanks for starting a fire. You’ll be missed.

Deepest condolences to the family. She will always be remembered as a great inspiration. As one of her students. I have only fondest memories.

So sad to hear of Heather’s passing. I recall her fondly and respectfully as a teacher, colleague, friend and inspiration. Deepest condolences to all family and so many friends. End of an era.

Ms. Campbell was my teacher (’75-’77). I remember her friendly smile and quick wit. Her engaging class discussions were often punctuated with laughter. She influenced so many lives as a teacher. I extend my condolences to her family.

Miss Campbell taught me grade X biology at Bishops in 1973-74.. She was the BEST! I have thought of her with fondness many times through the years . May she Rest in Peace.

Miss Campbell was my favourite teacher! I was lucky enough to have her for literature for all three years of high school! I remember my mother coming home from parent-teacher interviews in my first year of high school and telling me that Miss Campbell said I was her “ favourite “ student! I’m sure she told a lot of parents the same thing. She stressed to us students to not settle for less $$ then what we were worth when we got in the work force and that stuck with me! I hope she is now reunited with her family that has gone before her. Rest easy Miss C…

Heather was a tremendous educator. I was fortunate enough to have her as my Grade 11 teacher and went on to work along side her in the early 80’s. A fantastic teacher who sought the absolute best out of each and every student.

Sincere condolences to the entire family.
