Elizabeth, we are so very sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. The two of you are two of the sweetest souls. You both have been a part of so many important moments in our lives. You were there when we were married and you were two of our biggest cheerleaders when we were blessed with our Ella. Seeing you and Johnny always made the day brighter. Our hearts are heavy for you today. Thinking of Stu, Steve, and Susan as well. Please know that we, along with so many, share in your sorrow. He was one of the good ones. Godspeed Johnny. XO

Elizabeth,:Stewart, Stephen, Susan and Family:
I was truly sorry to hear of John ‘s passing. I knew ,, from speaking with you Elizabeth, at Winners , that John was not well but that he was managing his dialysis from home and also his cancer diagnosis. As a member of the CLB for many years years , John embodied the words of the Brigade’s song and towards the end of his life truly did “Fight the Good Fight”. May you find comfort in the knowlege that all of John’s struggles are over and he had found the Joy ,Strength and Might of being in his Christ’s Presence.
With our sincere sympathy
Christopher and Shirley Facey

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. My condolences to the whole family.

The first memory I have of John was when both of us were working with DFO. He was the radio officer ashore, and I was an officer cadet at sea. Every morning I called in our ship’s position and other information to XMP322. Our call sign was CG2959. I then got to know John while in the CLB Regimental Band. He sat directly behind me.

John was one of the nicest and kind men that you could meet. I have fond memories of John that will not be forgotten.

Susan, Rod and family, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Please know that although I’m miles away and can’t be there to tell you myself I am thinking of you all. Sending lots of love. Heather Peters (Clements)
