Still think about Uncle Lar all the time, especially at Christmas. Somehow we all ended up at Uncle Lar and Aunt Maureen’s every boxing day and it became an unexpected tradition that we looked forward to every year. A loving, kind, and supportive brother to our dad, Uncle Lar will always be remembered with a special love and fondness by Howard’s kids. xo

Aunt Maureen; Paul, Sean, Laureen and family.

Uncle Lar was a man I greatly admired. I was always amazed at his ability to talk intelligently about any subject. He was good natured and always displayed a smile or smirk when talking. I really enjoyed our conversations. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to work for him after I graduated from university. His generosity, wisdom and kindness will be missed.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the wonderful Fahey family on the passing of Lar. Being out of the province prevents me from visiting the funeral home or attending his funeral mass. I have wonderful memories of the Faheys from my childhood days on Colonial Street. May God hold Lar in His eternal peace.

Maureen & Family, John & Family, Patricia & Family, Andrew & Family, Bren & Family, Howard and Ginny & Family:
We were saddened to hear of Lar’s passing from Father Greg. I know that he was ill for a while over the last few years but rest assured that his suffering is over. He is now in Heaven with his parents and Mom and Dad and they are having a good talk about life here now. I will be remembering him in my prayers and you are all in my thoughts at this time. I will have Father Greg say a Mass in Lar’s memory. We are unable to attend the visitation or the service due to prior commitments in Gander.
