June
Our sincere condolences to you on the sudden passing of your loving husband, Lloyd. We got to know you and Lloyd while walking in the park. Lloyd was such a nice man, always pleasant, polite and he always had a story to tell, it may have been a funny story or a risky experience related to his work. It was always a pleasure to hear those stories. We have not been in the park very often since Covid but the few times we were, we wondered how you were doing as we passed the back of your house. May all the wonderful memories you and Lloyd made together be a source of strength and comfort to you as you go through the grieving process. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and may God give you strength and peace during this difficult and sad time. Rest in peace Lloyd.

Please accept our sincere condolences .We often met Lloyd when visiting family members, he was a neighbor and always pleasant to chat with.

Dear June, KeriLyn and Jason:

I was so saddened today to hear of your loss. Lloyd was one person who really knew how to enjoy life and who never allowed himself to delve in negativity.

I have always tried to link up with him and June on my annual trips home but for one reason or another failed to hook up for the last three years and was bound and determined to get to see them after the quarantine was lifted. Now, alas, that will no longer be possible.

Lloyd was the person I relied upon most when we were in the field for DFO. No disrespect to any of the other technicians – they were all good at what they did. But Lloyd was the best of the bunch, whether we were at Mrs. Hoff’s Boarding House in Millertown on Red Indian Lake, in the Visiting Officers Quarters in Goose Bay or our temporary cabins on the Lower Churchill at Gull Island Rapids, At the Mount Peyton or in the DFO trailers at Bishops Falls when working the Experimental Ponds, Lloyd always had a good word to say for everyone and always pulled his weight and then some.

Others have said what a kind, unassuming and modest, gentle man he was and I couldn’t agree more. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

June , Jason and Kerilyn,, so sorry to hear about Uncle Lloyd’s passing.. Love from Tore and I. Although we didn’t see you often, my memories of Uncle Lloyd are of his smile and that he was often laughing at a joke or prank, or funny story he was telling, and always happy to be with family. Our deepest condolences and lots of love to you all. He will be missed by all who knew him.,

June, So sorry to read of Lloyd’s sudden passing. It was only Monday past that Shaun spoke to him on our street. We are so shocked and saddened. Our relationship goes way back to when he came to St. John’s to attend the Fisheries College and boarded with Loretta’s mother and father. He always spoke so highly of them. Lloyd was so friendly every time we met and loved to have a chat. RIP Lloyd!

June. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, Lloyd. My deepest condolence to you & your families.

June, so sorry to hear of Lloyd’s passing. Sincere sympathy to all the family.

So sorry to hear of Llioyd’s passing. We both worked with Lloyd at DFO over the years. He was Edgar’s first supervisor when he was a student and he enjoyed every minute working with Lloyd. I also had several field excursions with Lloyd. He was very proud of his family and always enjoyed sharing family stories. Our sincerest sympathy.

A wonderful gentleman and colleague, as sweet as they come.
My condolences to the extended families.

June and family. I’m so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you at this sad time.

Aunt June, Jason and Kerilyn: I was so sad to hear about the passing of uncle Lloyd. It’s been a very hard year for the Hann family and I wish I could be there with you. Uncle Lloyd will be very missed especially at the holidays and family potlucks. He was such a sweet man and was always genuinely so happy to see his nieces and nephews. He would have such a huge smile on his face when you walked in and always greeted me with a hug. I’m so sorry for your loss and I’m thinking about you all.

Our deepest condolences, June and family. I am shocked and saddened to have just heard of Lloyd’s passing from my sister in Port au Port. I have fondest memories of growing up there with Lloyd as a friend from my first day of school attendence. While we left home in the same year, attended different schools in the City and lost contact from time to time, it was always great to see you both when we would run into each other. I will greatly miss those occurrences.

June I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers are with you and your loved ones. May time heal the hurt and memories keep Lloyd close always. Hugs friend, Mary Porter????
