I have such fond and loving memories of Aunt Lorraine, such a wonderful and gentle soul. There was always a kind word and a cheeky laugh, much loved and never forgotten.

Rest in Peace x

My condolences to her family. I didn’t know her name, but recognized her lovely face as being the pleasant, obliging lady at Dominion.

I worked with Lorraine at Dominion Stores, Churchill Square for three years. A more pleasant or courteous Lady you would be hard pressed to find, customers would line up to have their groceries checked out only by Lorraine. Knew everyone by name and the busier it got the faster her fingers flashed on those cash register keys, an absolute gem of a Lady, deepest condolences to her family.

Like others who have expressed condolences on Lorraine’s passing, we did not know her personally but our family was, during our many years of shopping at Dominion, the beneficiary of her soft-spoken, thoughtful, cheerful and courteous service. Her lovely picture is a reminder of the goodness she shared with others. We hope it gives you comfort to know that she was important in the lives of others. Our sincere condolences on her passing.
The Harnett family

Our sincere condolences to your family on the sudden passing of Lorraine . My mom, Violet , also lives at Bayview Heights Manor and we didn’t realize we knew Lorraine as the lady that worked at Dominion and related to people my mom knew as well. Mom and I always spoke to Lorraine at Doinion ,she was loved by everyone , just a meek , mild and kind lady and my last memory of her was only last week at Bayview . She held my hand and asked me to show her to her room as she arrived back from their Christmas party. Little did I know it was the sweet lady I knew my entire life . My mom and I are saddened by her passing , but she’s certainly flying with the angels ,she was an angel here on earth.
God bless you all., our sincere condolences.
RIP sweet Lorraine, may the light of God bring you home.

To Mrs. Jackman’s family,
I never knew Mrs. Jackman personally but I would say like many former customers of Dominion Churchill Square.
In my adult life I can honestly it was a wonderful experience and an honour to be in the company of such a remarkable lady. Always in the best of moods and made my shopping experience a great pleasure.
I’m sure there are many former customers like me.
May you be blessed in a special way of having Mrs. Lorraine Jackman as your family member now enjoying the company of Our Lord Jesus. RIP Mrs. Jackman.

Lorraine was a very kind person who had a gentle touch. Always thoughtful of others and cared deeply about her family. With twinkling eyes and a smile, she made everyone feel happy when around them. She had a delicate nature about her. One of the most beautiful people inside and out. I know now that you are at peace, enjoying the next chapter in the Lords hands. Until we meet again, may God bless you…

Sincere sympathy to the Summers family and especially Betty Redmond on the passing of a much loved sister and friend. I remember Lorraine from her time at Dominion Supermarket in Churchill Square. Lorraine always had a smile for everyone, could call you by name and always took the time to ask how you were. Lorraine’s excellent work ethics endeared her to all her customers. May Lorraine’s gentle soul rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord. She has earned her place in heaven.

I have many good memories of Lorraine when we worked together at Churchill Square. She was always a good friend and we shared many great laughs. My deepest sympathy to her family. Rest in peace Lorraine. Mary Jerrett, ( nee George.)
