Dear Ernie, Shocked to hear of Marie’s passing. Esther told me last night about her. Accept my deepest sympathy. You were so good to my sisters Monica and Mary. God Bless.

My dearest Aunt Marie your death
leaves a special signature
not written in pen and ink.

Instead you leave us a legacy of footprints,
handprints, sweet words of love in action, courage and strength
beyond measure etched upon our hearts and in our soul.

You, like all people knew love, joy, suffering and grief at your depths.
You showed us how to move through life with deep faith and resilience knowing that love
surpasses all suffering.

Much love and gratitude for being you and loving us. You will be forever in us
In our heart as you now rest in the eternal beyond.
