Dear Paul & Family,
We want to send our sincere sympathy to you on the passing of your Mother.
We are old neighbours from Empire Avenue & you were good friends of my bothers, Douglas & John Congdon. Our parents were also good friends & spoke highly of your Mom & Dad.
We hope you hold dear your wonderful memories & that they will sustain you through this sad time.
Take good care.

Sheila (Congdon.) & Wayne Courish

Please accept our sincere condolences to all the Pike family. Marjorie was a dear friend and neighbour who will be missed by my family. She loved to talk about growing up around Pippy Park and the antics she got up to as a young woman especially skating on the ponds. We shared the same birthdate in June so always had a good celebration each year….I will miss that.
Marjorie loved her friends and family including her church family of St. David’s where she was a long time member of many of the church groups, the Women’s Auxiliary, a life time member of the Atlantic Mission Society, the Quilting Group……and her knitted socks were a much sought after item at the Christmas Sale!
Rest peacefully Marjorie

Hi Paul,
Sorry to hear that you mom has passed. The last time I saw her was at a birthday party for my mother, who is living at the Tiffany Village. We had lost track of her over the last couple of years. There was a group of women from the neighborhood who would get together for tea a couple of times a year. I hope you are keeping well, and \I will try to touch base, the next time I am in Halifax. May she rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear that Aunt Marj has passed. I remember the many visits as a young boy, she always had a sparkle in her eye, and reminded me of my Dad so much. She will be missed. My condolences to Paul and all the family.
