Obituary
Passed peacefully away on January 27, 2018 in her sleep at home, Mary Post, aged 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Carl Robert (Bob), 1998; brothers Wes and Bill Horwood; sisters Hannah Hammond, Ada Davis, Rita Summers, Emma Bastow and Elizabeth Bilodeau. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her children Cynthia Follett (Doug), Valerie Bowyer (John), Roger Post, and Jodi Bartlett (Bill); grandchildren Denise Follett (Roy), Richard Follett (Chasity), Julia Olivares (Roberto), Christopher Bowyer (Elle), Darrin Ambrose, Robert Ambrose (Makalya), Kathleen Bartlett, and Emma Bartlett (John); great grandchildren Jarda, Jack, Jay, Isiah, Eva, and Sabrina; sister-in-law Ruth Orrestad and brother-in-law Ralph Post (Mary); also, a number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to caregivers Dianne Greeley and Sherri Hunt for their care and compassion and also her special niece Doreen Tricco. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday January 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday February 1 from 10-12 Noon. Funeral service will take place at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Thursday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Forest Road Anglican Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Thomas’ Anglican Church.
