Dear John, Beth, Pat, Walter, Paul, Maggie and Ella –

We were saddened to hear of your Mother’s passing. She was, in so many ways, a mother to all of us who grew up in that special neighborhood at that special time as 8 Bonaventure was the “hub” of life for many years. For me she exemplified strength, perseverance and self-respect. I consider myself fortunate to have known her, and I am sorry for the grief you must feel with her passing. She had a great impact on all who knew her, including me.

Our sincere condolences.

Years ago when my grandfather was a resident at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, he delighted in the days when your mother was scheduled to work. She brought much joy to all around her. May you always carry that delight in your heart.
