Obituary

It is with profound sadness we announce our mom’s passing on Friday, 26 June 2020 at Glenbrook Lodge. Jean was born in St. John’s 25 September 1941 to Harold and Florence Dewling.  Predeceased by her husband Leslie Wilfred on 26 February 2012.  Lovingly remembered by her family;  daughter Leslie Noel and son Harold (Michelle);  grandchildren;  Bobby (Patti), Amanda (Cory), Brandon and Majkl;  great grandchildren;  Quinn and Calliope;  brother Bob (Michelle);  brother and sister in laws: Doug, Bill, Olive (Ed), Sandra (Cec), Marilyn (Ralph), Tom (Wynone) and Max as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The Celebration of Life for  has been postponed until September. This  is tentative and subject to public health and self-isolation requirements being lifted. For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed.  The streaming link will be made available closer to the date at www.carnells.com. Flowers are gratefully declined; however, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to Parkinson’s Disease Research.

Sorry to hear of your mom Jean’s passing. Fond memories of working with Jean at BMO for several years. May she Rest In Peace.

To Jean’s family…So sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. I worked with Jean at BMO st. john’s for several years.We sat across from each other and shared many coffee breaks . We were neighboors, too, on Hickman Place in St. John’s. Jean was a fun person to be around.

Jean and Gary have been our Neighbors for the past 6 years. We certainly miss seeing her going for walks with Sammy and Are very Saddened to hear of her passing.. You were A Very Sweet Jean , May You Fly With The Angels
