Obituary

Passed peacefully but unexpectedly away at the Health Science Centre on March 3, 2020 Maureen Roche, age 78 years.   Predeceased by her husband Richard (2004) and sister Dorothy Ivany, bother-in-law Douglas, special aunt Agnes Walbourne, and sisters-in-law, Mary French and Jo O’Rourke.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories to celebrate her life are her sister Bernice Bemister (John), extended family of sisters-in-law, Madeline (Nix) Wadden, Peggy (Mike ) Davis, loved nieces , nephews, cousins and many friends.

Due to the current public health restrictions, a private mass for immediate family will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from Mary Queen of the World Parish with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  To view the service online, please visit www.saintpp.com.

So sorry to read this today. I worked with Maureen for perhaps 8 years at Worker’s Compensation (as it was known then). We had many great chats and she was a very pleasant person who liked to help others. She enjoyed a good party and I spend some time at her place on Diamond place in Mount Pearl.
My deepest condolences to all of Maureen’s friends and family.

So sorry to read this today. I worked with Maureen for many years and remember so many fun times with her. Many great memories of this sweet lady. My sincere condolences to all her family and friends.

I read the previousl death notice. Again, please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. I was neghbors with Maureen and Rick on Diamond Place many years ago. A very nice couple. They are reunited again. Rip Maureen. You were a lot of fun and a great neighbor.
