Obituary

It is with heavy hearts but many wonderful memories that the family of Mildred Quilty (nee Savoury) announce her passing at the palliative care unit on September 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by children Ruth Quilty (Victor) and Jim Quilty (Theresa), son in law Louis, daughter in law Barbara Ann, grand-daughter Valerie, sisters Vida Reardon, Sadie Savoury, and brothers Alfred, Percy and Angus Savoury. Thankful for the years of unconditional love, laughter and support are her children, Barb, Bride (Leonard), Georgina (Louis), Natasha, Fabian (Dianne), Addison (Marg), Gerard (Sherry), Gary (Tracy), Ron (Marilyn), as well as her 23 precious grandchildren and many great-grandchildren . Also left with fond memories are her sisters Libby (Bob) Rose, Alma Miles, as well as many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends. The family would like to send a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Leonard Miller Centre and the staff of 5SB Health Science Complex. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 7-9pm and Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 2 –9pm. Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Holy Family Church, Paradise. Private interment at a later date. Flowers are gratefully accepted.
