Obituary

Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre on Friday July 13th 2018, surrounded by her loving family, aged 72 years. Predeceased by daughter Shelly and husband Fred. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories her daughter Kim Miller (Jim); granddaughters: Brittany and Justine; as well as her partner, Edgar Johnson; her sisters and brothers: Irene (Jerry – deceased), Betty (Roger), Edna (Kev), Warick (Wendy), Gerry and Shirley (Eric); as well as many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Would like to give a special thank you to Mary Hicks and Carmel Collins for all their help and especially to Dr. Peter Noel who has been there for me and mom since the very beginning. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-9 p.m. Sunday, July 15th and Monday, July 16th. Funeral service on Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove, Interment to follow in the St. Philip’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove.

We are thinking about you today. Aunt Mildred is at peace now. She was a beautiful kind lady who always had a special smile. I have many great memories Kim when you were younger. Mom always looked forward to seeing your dad and Mildred. I often drove her to St. Philips even during a snow storm….so she could see all of you. I am sending you hugs sweetie. Our prayers are with you. Love you Cathy.
