Obituary

It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a much loved mother, grandmother, spouse and aunt. Minnie Evelyn Allen (Mindy). Passed peacefully away on October 28, 2017 at the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L. A Miller Centre after a long and courageous battle with COPD, aged 54 years. Predeceased by her father Robert and mother Joan Pearce. Leaving to mourn her spouse Gary Blackmore, son Matt (Erika) and step sons Curtis (Lori) and Stephen Blackmore, her cherished grandson Dyson Allen and her step grandchildren Ava and Blake. Sisters Patricia (Ernie), Jacqueline (Harvey), Roberta (Gary), brothers Chesley (Evelyn), David (Alicia) and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Rd. On Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 31th, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Cremation to Follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice.
