Obituary

Born February 4, 1947, passed peacefully away at his home in St. John’s on October 30, 2019.  Leaving to mourn his brothers, Charles (Rosalie), Don (Anne – deceased), & Bill (Suzanne – deceased), as well as his sisters, Grace (Ken – deceased), Judy (John), Barb (Leo), & Joan (Victor – deceased); along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He is now reunited with his mother, Annie Elizabeth, Father, Nathaniel, 2 sisters, Betty (Frank – deceased), Mary (Edward – deceased) as well as his brother, John (Lillian – deceased). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, November 3rd.  The funeral will take place on Monday, November 4th, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Michael & All Angels Church, 75 Kiwanis Street. The family is asking in leu of flowers, a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

So sorry to hear of Pat’s passing, I knew Pat from ST. Michael’s and All Angels Church since I was a young girl who would come to St
John’s to visit My Grandmother and I am now 59, so I’ve had many times to see Pat over the years at church and He was a Very Loyal and Faithful Wonderful Person. I will Miss Pat so much. I know He is with The Lord.

I will miss you so much! There are no words I can say that will describe how wonderful you are and how much you will be missed. I can still remember seeing you walk an hour just to have lunch with my mom and dad. I will miss you love Sandy and Allison Peddle

What a gentleman he was. I remember when my sister,Doreen, was on Food Bank duty with Pat. She was sure to make him a little lunch.When she got sick he would put his arm around me and say,How is Doreen. Such a humble and sincere Christian. You will be missed Pat

We are very saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. Sam and I knew him through
Church at St. Michael’s. We knew him to be a quiet, gentle man who was a tireless worker for the church.. Pat will certainly be missed at St. Micheal’s and All Angels.

So very very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I worked with Pat years ago at the Hotel. Always a sweet man. May his soul rest in peace. .
