Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Pleasant View Towers on Friday, May 15, 2020 age 86 years.  Predeceased by her beloved husband John T., son Thomas, and sisters Joan and Elizabeth.  Peggy is survived by her son Andrew, niece Linda Keilbiskie of Ontario, nephew Jim Oakley (Kim), extended family and many friends.  Peggy is also remembered by her devoted friend Helen Mahon.  The family would like to thank the compassionate and attentive staff at Cambridge Estates and Pleasant View Towers for their care of Peggy.  Due to the current public health concerns of Covid-19, a private family service and interment will take place.  Donations in Peggy’s memory may be made to the MUN Botanical Gardens, Salmonier Nature Park, or a children’s charity of one’s choice.

Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.

So sorry to hear of Peg’s passing, I use to have lots of talks with her when I went to visit my Mom.

It was always nice to be around Mrs. Dwyer . Such a friendly .,caring and kind person.

Andy, so sorry for the passing of your Mom. Had great visits with her in Cambridge Estates, but did not see her after going to Pleasentview. She was a very special person, who brought much joy and laughter to our family. So lucky to have her and Jack, Tom and you as neighbours. The best anyone could ask for. I will never forget her.

We are sorry to hear of Cousin Phyllis passing.. Growing up with Phyllis and her sisters was a great time in my life, they were like my sisters. Phyllis was a very caring person. Phyllis you will be missed, I will always cherish your memories.

Sorry to hear of Aunt Phyllis’ passing. I have fond memories of Aunt Phyllis- her kindness and wonderful smile, her love of gardening, how she enjoyed her cabin on Salmonier Line, and her lovely delicate crochet and other handiwork. Memories to cherish.

ANDY and family. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES go out to you on this news of PEGS passing. She was such a beautiful lady who was so pleasant and sweet. She dearly loved her gardening. I will never forget the countless times that me and You, Tom and Jack spent at the country with your Mom. We all shared many spirits together and of course the many cook ups with great laughter. Recently, my Mom and brother BOB passed in one week. So I guess we have to move pass these hard times and cheerish the great memories that we all shared in the past. My sincere condolences on your mother’s passing. She was always very kind to us, especially Bill, and he enjoyed many meals at the house on Elizabeth Avenue. Of course she was always devoted to her family. God bless.
