Dear Peter, Jeff , Karen and families
Our sincere sympathy on your loss of your father. We loved Uncle Preston and we grieve, too. I ( Anne) am so glad I was able to have a lovely chat with him in April.
Karen, Aunt Marion said you might be on PEI next year if you can come to Canada. I hope we have a Robbins visit of some sort.
Take care and know we are thinking of you.

To Peter, Jeffery, Karen and family. So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Unfortunately we were unaware of your mom’s passing in January. As a child, I met Cst Robbins in Gander when he helped me after my puppy died. Cst. Robbins was my neighbour and he came to my house and removed my puppy as my family was in grief. The professionalism, empathy & compassion of this RCMP Constable was a model for me and inspired me to join RCMP too. I always tried to display the same professionalism, compassion & empathy I learned from Cst. Robbins. This is a huge loss to the Robbins family and I offer my deepest condolences.

I am so very sorry to hear of Preston’s passing. My sincere condolences to his family.

Hi Peter, Jeff, Karen and families

Reading of your dad’s death in our newspaper was a real shocker. I knew that your dad had health problems but until talking to your Aunt Marion I didn’t realize how sick he was. It is a tremendous sorry to have lost both your parents within such a short time. My sincere sympathy.
We had so many great times when your mom and dad lived on the Island. Your dad’s distinctive laugh, stories and jokes will remain forever, as well as your mom’s pleasant and joyful attitude towards everything. Preston and Winnie were very special friends. Griever, as you must, but remember and cherish all the GOOD times.

Co-worker with your mom at UPEI

Our Condolences to Jeff, Rhonda, Ben, Carly , Allyson and the other family members.
It is always difficult to loose a parent but to have both parents deceased so close together must be hard. May the special memories each of you have of Preston help ease the loss you feel at this time. We always enjoyed chats with Winnie and Preston. At church or on Lori-Dale .A sweet couple indeed

Sincere condolences to Preston’s family. My first posting in the RCMP was Gander in the late sixties and Preston became my mentor.. He was a kind and patient gentleman. R.I.P.

It has been a lifetime since I have seen Mr.Robbins but I remember him fondly. I have still never tried cod tongue but always loved his reaction when he offered it to me for dinner. I also remember a great afternoon helping him plant trees in your yard on Advana Ave when Karen wasn’t home but I was obviously looking to hang out with someone. He was very patient and kind. Love and hugs to you all, especially you Karen – from an old friend from a lifetime ago ( Angie Schnare , now Cassibo)

Sending condolences to all the family.
Elwood and Marion are our relatives.

Thinking of family in this time of mourning for the passing of Uncle Preston.

Peter, Jeff, Karen and your families. We we so saddened to hear of your Father’s passing.
I remember him as a big man with a big, hearty laugh who always seemed joyful no matter what was going on. I also remember how proud he was to be a Mountie and how excited he was to show us his uniform when he first came home from training. At the same time I remember him laughing his head off when he put me up on Grandad’s bull’s back and led him around the yard, knowing full well how scared I was on that beast!
Our sincerest condolences. Terry, Doris, Jennifer, Chris and Jaya.
