To George, Andy and the rest of the Squires Family
I’m so sorry to learn of your Mother’s passing and the loss of another of the original Tunis Court pioneers. An image from childhood is Mrs. Squires at work in her sloping backyard garden and I imagine she is happy in a Heaven full of warm sunshine, fertile soil and abundant crops of fresh vegetables.
May you all find comfort in memories of the good times you shared with your Mother and the knowledge that old friends also recall her with fondness and affection.

Rosanne (Malone) Delaney

Mrs Squires, what a wonderful, strong, sweet person you were; and, fabulous gardener to boot. My childhood memories are numerous and often bring a smile to my face!
Tunis Court was a family onto itself and the ‘old guard’ has all but gone from our lives. It is at such moments that I miss being home, not only to offer condolences, but also to reconnect with the family. My husband Phil and I send our sincerest sympathies.

Dear George, Andy, David, Marty, Ann, Roger & families. So very sorry to hear of the passing of your mom, mother-in -law, & grandmother. I’m remembering a lovely lady with such a sweet spirit,…..and that beautiful garden where she spent many enjoyable hours. I loved visiting with her “across the fence” whenever I was home. Thinking of you all and wishing you comfort now and in the days to come.

To the Squires Family

So sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing.
We lost our Mom last June and I believe that they were the last two parents from the original 1950s Tunis Court families! Those were the post war days of very large families and the era when most of our Moms worked “at home”.
I know that you will all miss her, but take comfort in knowing that she is now re-united with your Dad & Dale.
Rest In Peace gentle soul.

Marty and family

As next door neighbours growing up on Tunis Court we all have so many fond and wonderful memories. While it is sad that your mom has passed we can not help being thankful that she had such a long healthy wonderful life. She was loved so deeply by all her family and you all gave her great joy.

God bless her, all of you and I know she will always remain in your hearts. I also know she is resting in peace.
