Obituary
Passed away suddenly on January 19th, 2019 at the age of 42 years. Predeceased by her loving father Frank Keith Tizzard Sr. Leaving to mourn her loving fiancé and life partner Larry Walsh Sr.; stepson Larry (Junior) Canning; loving mother, Rosemarie Tizzard (nee Kennedy); sisters: Kathleen Kennedy, Peggy Tizzard (Terry Mercer); brothers: Keith Tizzard Jr. and Paul Tizzard (Paula Hedderson); nieces: Stephanie, Kathy, Melanie, Becky and special niece Shaleen Kennedy; nephews: Leo, Dean, Billy and special nephew Jay Walsh; all her aunts, uncles and a large number of cousins especially Lisa and Christia Tizzard who she grew up with. Her (girlie) Best friend Jamie Bearns (Jason Walsh) whose family was very special to her. Life Long Special Friends: Jolene Trahey, Amanda Dawe, Daisy Chipman and numerous other friends whose hearts she touched. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 23rd and from 10-12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, January 24th. Funeral service will take place on Friday January 25th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow. So shocked to hear of Sherry’s passing. I worked with Sherry at Convergys . She had a contagious laugh lol. Always smiling and full of laughter and so pleasant to be around. She will be missed and never forgotten. Gone too soon may you rest in peace.
Larry and the Tizzard family, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Sherry’s sudden passing. I met Sherry when I worked in the School of Music and her sense of humor, her infectious laugh and her ability to lift your spirit were great qualities. A beautiful person taken too soon. Sherry will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace Sherry.

All I can say is……. Sherry was such a fun person to be around. I always looked forward to having a chat with her in the corridor here at the School of Music.

This is such a sad day for all of us. I worked with Sherry in the School of Music. She was such a happy soul and she loved the students in the building, calling all of them ‘dolly’. Her great and positive outlook on life was a breath of fresh air. I can see why she had such great friends. Everyone loved her!

I didn’t know Sherry for long enough, but she left her personality embedded in my mind from the day I met her. No doubt she’s upstairs making everyone feel at home and probably causing a bit of a raucous (in the most wonderful way). Truly shocked by her passing, this world has lost a wonderful soul, way too soon.
To the family of the late Sherry Tizzard I am so sorry for your loss. Gone to early but I guess god needed a special angel. Marie,Peggy,Paul and Keith also grandchildren I thought are with you all. Love you all Florence.

My heart breaks for you and the lose you are having to endure. Sherry was a beautiful person inside and out. Her stories, her laughter, her genuine loving nature and ability make you laugh and feels better was her gift and who she was. She touched so many lives and will be missed greatly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
I am still so schocked of the passing of Sherry … also know as Bubbles, Cherry Blizzard and Girlie. You were such an amazing and loyal friend to me and I will never ever forget all the memories we had. We were not only co-workers and neighbours but also best friends. Everywhere you went, I followed – we were attached at the hip. Your smile and laugh was contagious beyond words. You, Mike, Bonnie, Gordena , Karen and I would laugh so much on overnights and we all actually looked forward to our shifts together. You picked me up when I was down regardless of what was going on in your own life. You were the true definition of a friend and for that I am thankful.
I have so many amazing memories with you, Larry, Jen and Scott and will never forget the time we had when we went to my aunt Karen’s. We laughed until we cried.
I’m so glad I spoke to you only last week and I told you that I loved you. You told me that you carry the coin purse around that I gave you and that it was a part of you.
I only wish I could be there to say my goodbyes Sherry and I’m so sorry I’m so far away… but I love you.. Rest easy Sher Bear … until we meet again

I have not been able to get Sherry, her family and friends out of my mind since I heard this sad news. Sherry was someone who lifted the spirits of all who knew her. I was lucky enough to work with her years ago and remember her smile, laugh and out going nature so very well. We often talk about some of the “Sherry” stories and still laugh as if it just happened. The world is less bright with her no longer here. I wish love and light to her Larry, her family and friends. Know that she was loved by so many… and her lasting impact will never be forgotten. Rest easy my friend.

It’s so hard to believe that this kind soul was taken from our world so soon.. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Sherry for a number of years, I have to say knowing she was going to be in made a hard day worth punching. Sherry’s humour was out of this world and she had the ability to make you laugh those deep belly laughs that only a chosen few can do .. Tizz my love you will truly be missed and I dare say you have all of heaven in stitches right about now … to Sherry’s family I am sending my deepest condolences, and may you one day be able to smile when you think of her. For now know that she touched the lives of everyone she met and her family meant the world to her. To Larry I am so very sorry for your loss, Sherry loved you so much and she will always be with you. Still so terribly saddened by this news, I had the pleasure of working with Sherry for a number of years and she was such a fun person to be around. We had a number of fun nights outside of work too. My gosh….i still have no words…nothing is going to make this seem real…. its not right that she’s gone. We all had a deep connection…we were always there for each other…and now its gonna be so strange without her there…. sending you all my prayers in this devasting loss.
