So saddened to hear of Sue’s passing. Mac & I travel back home to St.John’s infrequently but whenever we’re home & we’ve run into Sue it’s always been such a pleasant conversation! Such a bright ray of sunshine that we’ll miss on our visits home!

I was so saddened to hear of Sue’s passing. Thinking of you all in this time of grief. Think of the good times, over the years there were so many! Love to all

I am incredibly saddened over Sue’s passing. Sue and I have been good friends for more than 40 years. So, so many good times shared with our circle of friends; so many memories to cherish. Sue was the kindest person I know. She would brighten everyone’s day just by being there. Though living away now, I was visiting St. John’s just a few months ago and Sue and I got together for coffee and to catch up. It’s the first time I’d seen her in a year but, as always, it was like no time had passed. I am going to miss her terribly.
To the boys, to Dean and all of the Miller family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. You will be in my thoughts.
Brian Higgins

Andy and Sherri Miller and Family. Sorry to hear about your loss. We are thinking of you all at this time. With sympathy, Tom, Jennifer and Lynn Kean

To Dave, Sue’s sons and family, I was so sad to hear of Sue’s passing. Sue and I played basketball together for the ‘Banshees’ back in the 80’s. She was sweet then, and still as sweet when we reconnected in Florida years later. Brian and I were so lucky to have taken a couple of mini vacations with Sue and Dave and a few friends, where we shared many laughs and made wonderful memories. Sue lived life to the fullest and made everyone around her feel good. She just had that personality. Rest In Peace, Sue. You will be missed.

Deb, I’m so very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and your family at this time. With sympathy, Susan

Very saddened to hear about the loss of Sue. I was a classmate of Sue’s at MUN School of Business. Sue always had such a wonderful smile that she shared with everyone! I’m so glad I had the opportunity to visit with Sue at the last Class of ‘81 reunion. Sending thoughts of comfort and condolences to the family. With heartfelt sympathy.

Dear Sue’s boys and Dave, I’m so sorry for your loss. I first met Sue when we played basketball many years ago for Stanley’s Steamer. Many laughs, road trips, and friendships. Although I haven’t seen Sue in a number of years her sweet nature seems to have stayed with her according to these comments. Bless you. “Disco duckies all the way”

To Sue’s boys and Dave
I had the great pleasure of knowing Sue first as a classmate at PWC and later as a neighbour. She was all the things that people say – funny, warm, smart and a wonderful mother to her four amazing sons. I know you will have many happy stories that will help you all through these difficult times. Please accept our deepest sympathies on your loss.

My deepest condolences to Sue’s family and friends. She radiated kindness and beauty. A truly wonderful person.

To Coady,Scott,Brett ,and Drew. So sorry to hear about your moms passing. I got to know your mom through you while at jack and Jill. She was a beautiful person and you were all great boys. Take comfort in each other and keep your moms memory alive by talking, laughing and crying. Talk about the good times and the not so good. Remember loved ones die but love lives on.
Your in my thoughts and prayers.. Elsie Parsons (your preschool teacher)

To the Millers and the MacDonalds,
I am so saddened to learn of your loss. Sue, Dean and I were at MUN Business School together. Sue was a kind, friendly, warm person, who always had a smile on her face – and what a beautiful smile it was. I last saw her about 10 years ago at a class reunion and she was exactly the same as she was 35 years ago – warm, welcoming, and with a joie de vivre.. She spoke with such pride and love of her four sons. May time heal your sorrow, friends ease your pain, and memories give you comfort at this difficult time. With heartfelt sympathies. Siobhan

It is with a heavy heart that I offer my condolences to Sue’s family. I met Sue at MUN School of Business and she was one of the best. Such a sweet lady. From reading all these messages, it truly does the heart good to see how many lives that Sue touched and left such an impression on this world. Gone long before we were ready to say Good Bye but never will be forgotten. Rest easy, sweet Sue. See you on the other side!….

To The Miller Family, we are so sorry for your loss. With our deepest sympathy. Pam and Don Forbes

The first time I met Sue it was as Jimmys sister back in the old rugby days and for years that’s how I thought of her. Things changed one summer in P.E.I. when we had the privilege to spend two weeks with Deao and Sue , Jim and Lucy, Len and Mitch , Tim and Juliette, and all of our very young children. I saw Sue as a Mom , wife , friend and not Jimmys sis.. She all ways had a smile on her face a positive attitude and a kind spirit inside. In this most difficult time, one that is hard comprehend, try to remember Sue as the lovely person she is and the way she carried herself. Strength to Cody, Scott , Brett, and Drew. My deepest condolence to Andy, Jimmy and Sherri and Peace to Sue.

I am so sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. I haven’t seen her since our days as Vanier volunteers but she was a special person. Sue always had a smile on her face, helped out with everything and you knew how much she loved her boys. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Our heartfelt condolences to Deb, Scott, Jess, Matt, and all of Sue’s family and friends. Thinking of all of you.

Our deepest sympathy to Dave and Sue’s family on her passing. She was my dear friend for many years, originally a co-worker and later one of “the girls”. Over the years, we shared many lunches, getaway weekends and other adventures, and became an amazing support group to each other. She was creative, funny, warm and kind, an inspiration to all of us in many ways. She will be missed!

Dear Family,

It is difficult to comprehend that Sue’s life here on earth has come to an end. She was the sweetest and gentlest person I have known. I will forever cherish all the laughter and good times we had together. She is just one of those people that everyone wanted to be friends with and I feel privileged that I was one.
My heartfelt sympathies to her immediate and extended family. May you find joy and comfort in each and every memory.

When I heard that Sue Miller passed away, the first words I said were “she was so full of life”. I have many fond memories of Sue, all so vivid despite the fact that they were many years ago. She was such a fun gal to be around and our families have had such good times together over the years. I can still hear her laugh and feel her kind spirit. We will never forget the time we shared with Sue on the Miller-family-Euro-extravaganza in 2015. Sue’s warm, welcoming presence throughout that trip and her once-in-a-lifetime triumphant finish at the Berlin marathon gave us a precious glimpse into the amazing, fun-loving, and beautiful woman she’ll be remembered as. To her treasured friends and family, our hearts are with you, and we know that Sue’s vibrant and generous spirit will wrap around all of you with love as you honour her life and continue her legacy. We feel lucky to have known her.

If I thought Sue could hear me I would say : Because we were neighbours , because of our kids sharing time playing hide and seek ( most often in your backyard) , growing up at the same schools…(Me running my first Tely with you Sue )…your impact on us is far more than you knew …the connection runs deep even in spite of a limited time spent together . Our hearts are drenched with a sadness. Sue had so much more to live and give. She was a beautiful person on the outside and in. The world is just more empty without her but I am sure she has influenced her boys and her family in a way that they will carry her legacy on … her fun loving self , never sweat the small stuff mantra… we know this is a very deep hurt for all of the family and friends so important in her life.
We wish you all comfort in knowing that you are surrounded with so many who support you in this dreadfully sad time.
With our love and condolences
Beverly Peter Stuart Nadine and Erin

It is with such sad hearts that we must now say goodbye to you, Susan. Life is so precious. Sending deepest condolences and sympathies to her family and friends. A beautiful soul …

How much better the world would be if everyone was like Sue. She was truly the kindest person I ever met and so thoughtful. I know her loss for family and friends is crushing but, as the grief passes, you will find that love again settled in your hearts. It will take time but you will find it. I hope all friends will do something Sue. I will.

Our sincerest heartfelt condolences to the MacDonald and Miller families. A loss such as this is hard to comprehend and the grief immense however it is true that time will help us to learn ways to cope with our loss and to find joy in the memories we have and the new ones we will make. Sue, may your gentle soul and goodwill shine in those you have left behind.

I always said that Sue was the most giving person ever. She always thought of others and their needs instead of her own. That was what Sue was all about. And everyone loved her for it. She brought joy to whomeever she was around. Sue was one in a million. To me she was the best friend ever, for over 35 years, and I will miss her beyond words.

Sue was a very good friend with whom I shared many girls trips, weekends and always many laughs, wine , food, shopping and just generally always a fun time. Sue loved her boys so very much and no matter where we were she always talked about you all. If I had to sum up my thoughts and feelings for Sue it would be that she was the epitome of life, love, adventure, optimism, sweetness, kindness and family and friends. Sue you will be missed by so many people and will certainly live on in the hearts and minds of all of the people she touched with her kindness and friendship.
