Obituary
Passed away with family by her side on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Health Science Centre, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Jack in 2016. Leaving with loving memories daughters Terry Butler Janes (Ed), Rita Dohonick (Michael), Susie Cardoulis (Nick), Linda Butler-Fox (Brian), grandchildren Shawnie Lane (Boyd), Chrissy McCosham (Evan), Stephen Dohonick, Jordan Zabaneh (Deli), Adam Cardoulis (Jennifer), Joe Cardoulis (Nicole), Branden Butler-Fox (Nicole) and Ryan Butler-Fox (Marie), great-grandchildren Nathan, Jacob, Julie, Cole, Josh, Sam, Luke, William, Vanessa and Julianne; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Meadow Creek Retirement Centre for the care and compassion they have shown towards Jack and Theresa during their time with them. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 2‐ 4 p.m. and 7‐9 p.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Friday, December 29 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shriners’ Transportation Fund for Crippled and Burned Children.

Susan & Nick and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I just found out that her funeral was yesterday. I don’t think I would have made it. I hope it went well I know the loss of a parent is very sad to the whole family, and I wish all of you the very best as you move on. This is a new era for you all.
Sorry to hear of Thersa’s passing!! such a beautiful soul inside and out ! Jack and Thersa are now together again !! Thinking of you all !!

Sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing.Even though you were lucky to have her for so many years it is still hard when she is no longer here.
I had planned to come out for a visit and to give you hugs but a ” cold bug” made me rethink that.

Sorry to about Aunt Theresa’s passing. We will all miss her ready smile greatly on the MacDonald side of the family. It is the end of a line, which we will miss for ever. I know that she and Uncle Jack received a great deal support from their children as they got older. That support was always greatly impressive to me. They were both well looked after. This is a credit to their children and of course the character of Aunt Theresa and Uncle Jack. Certainly, it was a great deal of Love, which they both deserved greatly. My sympathies to my cousins at this time, and hope to see them soon in the new year.
