“Claudia” and Gary. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Mr. Stone’s pasising. Always remember his pleasant smile as he would go in to Mrs. Skiffington’s apt, as I would be sitting on the steps almost blocking his way, lol! Such a soft spoken individual.

Claudia , Gary & Family ….
My memories of Tom go back to over 60 yrs ago
while growing up on Forest Rd. .. My Brothers and I
had great respect for Tom as he was always a man
who was confident . reliable and fearless ..
I got to know Tom much better when he was looking for people to join the formation of a Housing Group .. Under Tom’s leadership we formed the Apollo Housing Co- operative Society
Limited on January 26 , 1971 and thanks to Tom …
our membership co- operatively constructed
nine[ 9 ] family bungalows [ homes ] in the
then new Confederation Heights. [ Macdonald Dr.]
Area .. What a wonderful feeling all of us felt ..
moving into our new homes … All because of
Tom Stone’s initiative ..and determination to
succeed .. especially with so many people saying
it couldn’t be done .. We bless the day he came
along … Tom’s Apollo Model became a standard
for others .. Thank You Tom ..
May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You and
Your Family …..
