Sending sympathy to all your family!

Mrs. Dicks & Family:: I am saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. I knew Tom through working with the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans. On many occasions I had the privilege of tasting the wonderful meals which he prepared when we visited the patrol vessels while conducting interviews for ships’ crews and officers. He was truly dedicated to his work and he enjoyed it. Since retirement, I had several occasions to meet him at the malls in St. John’s and we would always have time to chat. He was a pleasure to know. My condolences to your family. May God’s richest blessings be upon you during this sad time! Myrtle Soper, Hant’s Harbour

I was saddened today to hear that my old shipmate Tom had passed away. We served together on the Cape Freels, Cape Roger and Nonia and through rough nights and calm days we always enjoyed the voyage.
