So sorry to hear about Wayne’s passing. Our sincerest condolences to the family. God Bless. John and Ivy

I’m really sorry to hear about your loss. I was lucky to have met and spent time with Wayne during our geology days at MUN. We had many good times together whether it was studying, hanging out at Murray Club mixers, playing darts or a scattered trip to the Breeze Way. Wayne always enjoyed life and was great friend.

My Sincerest Condolences to the Family. I worked with Wayne several years ago In Systems at the QEII Library. Wayne was always so pleasant, and always there to help in anyway he could. I am so sorry for your loss.

Tina, I was very sad to hear of the passing of your husband Wayne. You always spoke of such wonderful time that you, Wayne and the kids had on your Holidays.
Cherish the memories of the wonderful times you all had together. My condolences to you, Ty and Ash…and all of your Family and Waynes

My sincerest condolences to you. I worked with Wayne at the QEII, and I thought he was a kind and patient man who always had a smile to share. He seemed very devoted to his family. It was a pleasure to have known him.

Tina, Ty, Ash, Wyman Sr and Wyman Jr: Words cannot express how sorry I am for Wayne’s passing. I wish I could hug, hold and take away the pain you must feel right now. Wayne was my friend and I thought of him as my brother. I have many fun memories over the years, from sledding ‘up on the hills’ to giving him a hard time for removing all of the pizza toppings when we ordered out…. and being a Hab’s fan.
I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey and that I will always cherish the memories and time we spent together. I hope you find all the strength and love you need as you go through this difficult time.

Oh my where do I begin, never thought I would be doing this for Mr. Stubborn. Wayne has been a great friend of mine for many years from high school on up to now and with each year although we might not see each other as much as we like, it was always a strong bond (or at least I felt this way, lol!). , No matter how spaced our visits were, Wayne and Tina was always there right where we left off (never any questions), I could show up unannounced but make no mistake, I never ever cared about imposing on them cus they really didn’t care, they have always been there for myself and Tanya,, ok I will stop right there cus he is probably frowning at me now to stop being so mushy, Wayne was the type of man that said it like it was and if you didn’t like it, then, too bad, he never tip toed around anyone. Myself and Tina said more than once that he had no social skills (lol!). Wayne was the type of person that would never show much emotion, and he believed in respect, honour, and helping people, he didn’t show emotion much but displayed it through the things he did for Tina, Ash, and Ty along with family and friends. He ranks very high in my books more that he probably knew but Wayne, know that you have great friends here to look out for your beautiful family. Tina, Ash, and Ty I am sorry for your loss and wish I could take the pain away, please take comfort in knowing that we are all here for you and the boys and we will see you soon. Just to end on a high note, Wayne a Hockey Coach? Never thought I’d see the day, you see that’s what kids do, they bring out super powers in people that you never even knew you had.. I always said myself, Keon, and Wayne should have had a hockey team, man, we would have been bad lol! love jade and Tanya

My thoughts and prayers are with Tina and family, Wyman Sr and Wyman Jr. Wayne was a great person and very old friend, you sure will be missed by all, rest easy my friend until we meet again.

Uncle Reg, Kathy and family

Words can not express the deep sorrow I feel right now for the large circle of family and friends that are feeling the void of losing someone so special. Wayne lived his life with passion and invested deeply in those who he loved. His commitment to Tina and the boys showed a love that knows no boundaries; not even death can take away all that he has given of himself- -all that was shared between you. Those we hold closest to our hearts never leave us; they live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they have shown us. Wayne has left his footprint within each of you. His light will shine bright through Ty, Ash and through countless memories to be treasured forever. May his legacy bring you smiles through the tears and help mend your broken hearts.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of such a great man…hold tight to the precious memories that you have made over the years…our hearts ache for you guys….take care of each other during this difficult time …lots of love Ches, Diana, and Parker

Wyman and family, sorry to hear about your loss, our thoughts and prays are with you ..

Tina and family, I am so deeply saddened to learn of Wayne’s passing. We spent many an hour figuring out projects at work. His desk and board held pictures of you all and every time I’d ask about you guys he would smile and tell me a story. He was so much more than a coworker he was a friend. I’ve said “I wish Wayne was here” so many times because there was no problem he couldn’t fix. I will truly miss him as will the rest of the QE II. I hope the many memories you and the boys have will help comfort you.

I was acquainted with Wayne where we were hockey dads & coaches & I always enjoyed our conversations. Even when his health was failing, I only saw a very up beat & positive Wayne which exemplified the nature of this good man. his beaming smile will be missed at the arena. Sorry to see him lose this battle. My condolences to the family. It was a pleasure to know Wayne for the short time I did.

I hadn’t met Wayne in person, but worked with him virtually and by telephone while working with Memorial’s library system. He was always very helpful and was great at what he did! I’m sure he will be missed.
My condolences to Wayne’s family and friends. Rest in Peace, Wayne.

To the Mitchelmore Family…..My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of great loss. I worked indirectly with Wayne at the QE 11 Library and you could not meet no nicer guy. Always there to help another employee when needed. I guess God needed a computer expert to repair his computer or install a new program. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to work with him.

One of the nicest people you would ever want to meet or work with. Rest in peace buddy.

Howard

I had the pleasure of working with Wayne for many years at the QEII. Wayne enjoyed life, he always had a smile, and always had a positive outlook. One of my fondest memories of Wayne was at the Prince of Wales Arena teaching our boys Ty, and Chris (my son) to skate in the Can Skate program. It saddens me that Wayne is no longer with us in this life.

Mitchelmore Family, I remember Wayne from his time at the Health Sciences Library. He was always cheerful, friendly and helpful. Please accept my condolences at this difficult time and in the coming days.

Tina, Ty, Ash – my heart is fully with you and your family during this difficult. Wayne was one of the best co-workers I had the pleasure of working with. He was encouraging, prompt, fair, thoughtful and worked with you to get the job done. I’ll never forget playing pool at the Systems Christmas party with him. No matter how bad I played – it did not matter. We just had a blast. All my thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Tina, Ty, Ash and the rest of the family,

We are so very sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. He coached our daughter, Maria, during her first novice year with the Eagles and we remember him as such a kind, nice and soft spoken man. It was not hard to see how much he loved being around the kids and Maria really liked him as her coach. His loss will be surely felt by the Eagles and all the many kids he coached and mentored. We are thinking of you all so much during this time. Rest peacefully Wayne.

Our condolences to you and your families..

I was very saddened to hear of Wayne’s passing. I worked for him at Memorial for a few years and got to know him primarily as a boss. I found him to be a caring and capable manager and a breath of fresh air compared to many of the people I had to deal with. He was always supportive of work well done and eager to foster talent, Working directly with him on a few projects I was impressed with what a self-starter he was in terms of teaching himself new skills. I also got to know him as a father through the stories he told about his kids, which he clearly treasured more than anything else. When I left Memorial for adventures elsewhere in the world, Wayne was very supportive of my personal development.

I keep Wayne in my thoughts as I move on with my life and hope his example can guide me positively in my own career and family life. My deepest condolences to Tina and the boys–Wayne was a genuinely good man.

I am truly saddened by the loss of a great person. I am so sorry that you’re going through this Tina, children, Wyman Sr and Wyman Jr. I hope you all find support in each other and in your friends and family. It was an honour to have gotten to see Wayne again and hear his voice and feel the love you all have for him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you mourn the loss of a wonderful man.

Tina, Ty and Ash our sincere condolences to your family during this very difficult time. Wayne was such a great dad. May you find some comfort in your beautiful memories.

Our deepest condolonces to Tina, Ty, Ash and all the Mitchelmore family. Wayne was the epitomy of a great Father and hockey Dad. Anytime he greeted you at the rink he had that same smile and positivity about him. He loved watching the boys play the game they loved and was always respectful of the game. Rest in Peace my friend.

So sorry to hear about Wayne. Tina I wish I could put my arms around you and hug all your pain away. Wayne will never really be gone because he will live on in your two beautiful sons. Sending you all my love and prayers. Take care of each other, love you.

Tina….So sorry to hear about Wayne’s passing. May God grant you and your children the peace and grace needed at this time.

My wife’s Nancy joins me in sending our thoughts and prayers to the entire family. I remember Wayne as a teenager and faithful server in the Church of the Advent Plum Point. In adulthood I saw him a number of times when we found ourselves in St John’s at Darcy’s. I always enjoyed catching up with him and hearing about his boys. The last time I saw him he spoke of his illness and his determination to fight. We all know he was a fierce competitor. He fought a brave battle. In the next few days his family will also face a tough battle but I hope you will take comfort in knowing that love can never die. Love is stronger than that and you continue to be surrounded by Wayne’ s love and by God’s love.
