Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre with his loving wife by his side, William Marcus Seaward (Beau) Meadus, age 79. Predeceased by his sister Jean; mother, Rosamond Sarah Seaward; father, Albert; brothers, Dolf (Betty), and Alec (Helen); and sister, Elizabeth (Reg Rumsey). Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 50 years Patricia (nee Noftall); son, William Jr.; daughter, Connie; son-in-law, Tom Flood; dearly loved grandchildren, Dylan and Samantha; brothers, Edward (Teresa, deceased) and Walter (Roz); brother-in-law, Ron; Len, deceased (Lorraine); sisters-in-law, Nina (John, deceased), Maureen, Jack, deceased (Barb, deceased); Joan (Lal), and Beth (Frank, deceased); Wayne, deceased; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 from 5 – 9 p.m, and Thursday, October 26th, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m & 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2017 at 11 a.m at George Street United Church. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

I am so sorry to hear of Beau’s passing.
He was always so funny and knew how to make you laugh. I always loved when he would come down to Ros and Scottie’s to visit.
I remember each trip out on the boat, we (Ashley, Megan and myself) would radio out and Beau was always the first to answer with a silly remark.

I’m so sorry, he was such a great man.
I will never forget Beau’s Kindness and Sense of Humor. I will always remember when I was a little girl and wanted him to pick me up and I would always say Upie Beau. Everytime I would see him, I would say that to him and he would laugh.
