William (Bill) Francis Fleet

Passed peacefully away on December 19, 2018 in the presence of his family, William Francis Fleet, age 88 years. Bill was a sheet metal worker, retired Newfoundland Dockyard employee, as well as a long-standing member of The Knights of Columbus.

Predeceased by his first wife Helen; and wife Marjorie.

Leaving to mourn his step children Terry Paddon (Cecilia), Ann Parks (Lloyd), and Ruth Meaney (Frank), grandchildren Robert Paddon (Kim), Emily Paddon (Brandon), Adam Meaney (Jess), and Victoria Voll (Jonathon); great-grandchildren Roslyn and Calligan Meaney; as well as other family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on January 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on January 4 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
