Obituary
Passed peacefully away with dignity and grace, Ruby Marie Skiffington, age 86 years. Left to celebrate her life are her sister Eileen (Ike), her devoted niece Perri (Dave), her sister in law Marie Skiffington and lifelong friend Joan Smith. Predeceased by her siblings Fred, Jim and Sandy.
Sharing special memories with her cousin Ros Tuff (Don). Ruby also leaves to mourn her loss special nieces and nephews, Sean and Shane Skiffington, Robert, Meighan Johnson (Tyson Johnson and Thomas Nugent), and Lesley Holmes. Ruby enjoyed a special relationship with all her nieces and nephews. She had a warm relationship with other family members, too many to name individually, and a large circle of friends.
To say Ruby was her own person is an understatement. She lived a full life. She worked hard and played hard. Ruby was a resident of Pleasant View Towers for the last 6 years. We would like to acknowledge the care and respect that was shown to Ruby over that time. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at a later date.

Joanie Eileen and family where to start? I met Ruby my very first day of work at NLCS! She was the boss then and till the day she left you listened to Ruby! But didn’t she love a laugh and fun and was the devil in disguise. The twinkle in her eye when she was up to no good! Like the time herself and Joan tipped over the full pot of chili in Sandy’s new car on the way to our Christmas Party.
Ruby loved her family and friend Joanie dearly and always had a story . She was proud of each one of you.
I have been thinking of her dearly and the joy she bought to my life. Peace has found her.

My sincere condolences of the death of your much loved Aunt. My Aunt Mary Myrick worked with Ruby for many years. She held her in high regard and I think the both of them had the same sense of humor and always enjoyed a bit of fun! I know you took gentle loving care of her. May she now rest in peace.
