Alexa Elizabeth Pollard of Conception Bay South, NL passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025
Alexa was born on October 20, 1987. After graduating from high school, she went on to study nursing at Memorial University and graduated in 2010, with a Bachelor of Nursing. She worked at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s and made many friends along the way.
Alexa loved her little house with all the beautiful flowers, trees and a view of the river and ocean. She loved outside her puttering away with her tools building things and gardening. Alexa wanted all the cats but settled on four and she loved them dearly.
Alexa was predeceased by her grandfathers; Hector Pollard, John Warren and Melvin Jacobs; and her cousin Charlotte.
Alexa leaves to grieve her mother and step-father Paula and Michael Jacobs; her father and step-mother Anthony and Joy Warren; her brothers Nathaniel, Nicholas and Carter; her grandparents Doreen, Eileen, Joyce, Ruby and Michael; Aunts Peggy, Donna (Gary), Cathy (Brad), Cindy (Dale); Uncles Paul (Jen), Dave (Renee), Robert, Sheldon (Danielle); her cousins and her friends.
Visitation will be at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s on Sunday September 7, 2025 from 12 to 2 pm. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the SPCA.
Every time you see a beautiful flower in bloom, a breathtaking view of the water or a fluttering butterfly, remember Alexa and smile.

Word s cannot express how I felt when I heard of Alexis passing , although I only saw her a couple times I remember her looking exactly the same as the photo here .Such a beautiful , smart girl , life is so unfair and we have so many questions WHY but I guess we will never know ,my heart breaks for you sending our deepest condolences , one things for sure poppy Hector will watch over her , he loved her so much .God Bless from Bonnie and Francis Ropson

I met Alexa about a year ago. She helped our family at a very difficult time. Alexa I only met you for a short time but thank you for all you did . RIP.
I have had the privilege of working with Alexa for 12 years on 4Sa and the past 2 years on 5SA. I will miss her beautiful smiling face, her kind words and her eagerness to help others on the unit.
