So sorry Debbie to hear of Doug’s passing, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Although I didn’t know you, the picture of you is so familiar, your sister Velda says I may’ve used Miller Lock and Safe -so there’s that. Or a very handsome fellow and perhaps just a face that impacts on many a lady! At any rate, I get the feeling that you are going to be missed terribly from the sheer number of remembrances left here and from aforementioned sister. RIP young man.

Sending our deepest condolences to all families.May God bless you all.

So sorry for the loss of Dougie.

My dear Brother-In Law, from the time our paths crossed and we were united as family, you were, to me, my Big brother. You always kept watch over me, ever ready to offer a hand and give brotherly advice. You and Deb welcomed me into your home in Alberta and I learned to identify many musical artists from your quizzing me often at the beginning of a song.. The music never dies, nor will your memory. My heart is saddened by your passing; I will continue to hold onto the many fond memories you left behind, Rest in God’s peace, my brother and friend, you will be missed, your sister and friend, Judi

My friend of over 50 years has left! We had many enjoyable trips on this island in the great outdoors, trout fishing and hunting for big and small game! Doug almost always caught the biggest trout! He had a knack for it! Doug was a man of many talents; a superb locksmith; he could open any lock or safe, or even make your key with a file and a key blank in a pinch! A self taught taught mechanic, he maintained and repaired the many vehicles he owned over the years! Rest easy my old friend!

We are sadden to hear of Doug;’s passing. Doug was always a friend, who often lent us a helping hand. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. Treasure your memories. Francis Kenny and Linda Guillemette
