Anne and Henry ran a fish and chip shop, Henry’s Lunch on Merrymeeting Road for about 50 years. From her father’s shop in The Battery and the counter at Henry’s lunch to her family and social circles, Anne was known for her dedication to family, impeccable work ethic, generosity, and wicked sense of humor.

To the Larkin Family:
So sad to learn of Anne’s passing, she was an amazing woman, full of energy, such a sense of humour, and never too busy to have a chat. She was the life of the party and lit up any room she entered. She was a great story teller and, as a teenager, I always appreciated our one-on-one times together when I helped her with alterations from her legendary shopping trips. She was kind and had a heart of gold.

The Larkin Family:
So sorry to hear Aunt Anne passed away. Aunt Anne was always there for us especially if there was an accident. My mother Clara would call her sister and Aunt Anne would drop everything and come help. I spent many weekends at the cabin and I felt like I was one of Aunt Annes sons. I also have fond memories of her fabulous Raison Squares. I take comfort she’s together with my mother now.

Oh Annie, I’m so sad to read this.. I loved when you and Henry would come for your appointments. And then unfortunately by yourself. I loved our chats and for as long as I live I will never forget the advice you had for a successful marriage. You were a beautiful soul with a heart of gold. But you were a firecracker and we both laughed so much. It was my pleasure that I was lucky to know you.
My sincere condolences to your beautiful family.

A bright smile, a joke or two (often many more), stories (sometimes told many times but always with a new twist), a great “cuppa tea” to follow (with more jokes and stories!). -my typical “aunt Anne visit and the essence of who she was and what I will always remember, what I will miss and moments I will cherish forever!

Gone, yes, but will never be forgotten! ❤️

Sending my thoughts, love and support to the entire Larkin family!

To all the Larkins.
