Obituary

 

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our precious son and brother Anthony Harvey on October 12th, 2024, at the age of 57 years.

Left with fond memories his loving mother Genevieve and brother Michael. Also Aunt Leah Sainsbury, Aunt Patricia (Sam) Feltham. Also many cousins and other relatives.

Predeceased by his father Michael; brother Jason; grandparents Nellie and Samuel Sainsbury; Aunt Hilda Sainsbury.

The family would like to thank the staff at 4 Southwest at Pleasantview Towers for their care.

Cremation has taken place.

Funeral service to take place on Friday October 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland And Labrador, 107-835 Topsail Rd., Mt. Pearl, NL, A1N 3J6.

Genevieve, Michael and family,
I am heartbroken to hear of Tony’s passing. It’s been years since I seen him but he will always hold a special place in my heart from his hugs to his smiles and laugh. I grew quite fond of him quickly in the short time I cared for him. Sending all the love and prayers your way.

I am so so sorry for your loss. The lost of a child is the hardest loss to feel. And Genevieve this is your second. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you and for Tony. That is a grief I will suffer because of my own doing. He’s Son didn’t do any of this. My heart breaks for you Genevieve and your Grandson.

Tony was always full of life. He loved to be the person in the room who always had the best jokes. Tony will be forever missed and loved. By myself Bev and mine and Tony’s son Tyler.

To my favorite cousin Genevieve. Myself and Ian are both very sorry to hear the passing off your beloved Tony.may Jesus christ give u the love, support, and strength. I wish Myself & Ian were there to wrap our arms around u and give u the biggest hug ever u are a Gem off a lady.may God give Tony rest and peace with his love ones in heaven.
